Couldn’t people rack up on tank cards and instantly rush the enemy?

So you mean spawn one singular tank and rush with it? No. Because you can’t have duplicate cards, maybe variants, but even then it costs points to summon cards.
You unlock a card permanently, it’s not like halo 5 so you cannot stack a bunch of cards and repeatedly buy them
Yeah like stated before you can only have one of each card In your deck and they eventually rotate back to the top. So it would take awhile to get a lot of tanks.

You may decide to stock up on high powered tanky units but the more powerful they are, the higher their unit cost which means a player can’t just spam them out. The energy needed to play a card is a resource you and your opponent are fighting for. The strategy gets interesting as you think about maybe building a cheap, fast playing deck and perhaps then try to rush vs. someone attempting to play defensively with bigger, pricier cards to amass enough energy to go for a killing blow. Really can’t wait to see what people do when they can try it out next week.

Right from the mouth of one of the divines OP, I honestly can’t wait to try this out for myself and hopefully be able to make a very Grunty deck 
Sorry, ya’ll, I didn’t really know how this system works. Really psyched to play the beta. This’ll be my first time playing Hwars 2 since I didn’t have gold when the other beta was out.
