Can we please have region lock or something?
I am so sick an tired being paired with South America and the connection begins to suck. I am in Colorado, in the mountains. I am definitely not going to connect to people below sea level.
Fix the servers please for the love of my sanity and better connecting games.
I swear to god this happens to me all the time and I’m in California and I get paired with ppl from Brazil and it messes up the ingame connect with frame drops and bs kills/deaths

It’s awful. I cry inside every time. I’m like, i like you Brazil. but I don’t want to compete with you when I am not in your country and sit high above it in the mountains.
I feel your pain son. I remember the long night of lag playing other player from France, UK, Russia, China in Halo 4 mulitplayer but the worst all was playing on Halo Reach with Mexico player where their internet was off taco bell wireless internet speed which is worst of the worst because share with everyone. I am not joking the lag in muiltplayer match vs the Mexico player in Halo Reach was so bad they teleported all over the map. Halo 5 was good and i never had a bad connection, but i still think 343i should added region lock in the game for halo player from other country so they can get better internet connection playing with player from their country.
343i add region lock in your game period. I hope that Halo 6 will add region lock to game so halo player can play other player in region so they never should worry about lag.

I thought they had a regional lock and so many people got hurt feelings it was removed and the only way to fix the problem is unfortunately by not playing halo hopefully it will get fixed so this becomes a skill based and not a connection based game
Bro I play from the UK in Expanded Search FFA Games and end up playing against NA/Mexico/French even Indian players on Mc Donald’s Wi-Fi , lag really doesn’t affect your skill or abillity to play that much. The only time it does is when my last shot on a perfect kill doesn’t register but even then its only 1 more bullet to the head.

I could create a lovely montage of people Ninja Teleporting all over the map. Or take 5 shots to the head with a pistol and still live and manage to kill me. Or a whole clip of AR into them and they still manage to survive and eat shots like I am dispensing Pez from my magazine clips.

More like 5 to the head. High ping games are brutal.

Me neither, I am not against other regions. But I want the best connection possible.
I just think its unfair to be ranked or recorded with KDA, when I am not fighting people either in my skill level at all or they are lagging up a storm.
I am unable to get a match without searching beyond my country - FFA in Australia is a limited play base. My connection is seemingly stable enough to allow US opponents to ‘Perfect’ me all the time - connection is a benefit to US players.
