Well not quite. I was pottering around my house when I heard this music coming from the TV and instantly thought ‘Cool, sounds like something to do with Halo 4’, popped my head in the room and realised it was an ad for the film Anna Karenina which features neither guns nor aliens.
Is it just me or does that sound alot like one of the songs from the Halo 4 OST?

It does sound similar, you’re right - but it’s just a coincidence.
Both pieces use a very common chord progression, so it’s natural that they’ll sound like each other.
You’ve got the Halo disease! Soon everything you see and hear will remind you of Halo. 
wow i thought the exact same thing, when i seen that movie trailer the other day and i immediately thought of the music in the “halo 4 behind the magic” video.

Anna Karenina… a movie about 19th century Russian fashion?! It looks like something I’ll definitely be watching.
