Im having trouble deciding if i should get halo 5?

I have every single halo game not including Spartan strike and halo assault but I don’t have Halo 5 so I have been wondering whether the games worth it because I have a xbox 360 I don’t have an xbox one so I would have to get an xbox one to also get halo 5 so is it worth it? I need help.

Wait a few months.

in my opinion, you shouldn’t buy a Xbox one just for halo, but if you are getting a Xbox one not just for halo, buy halo 5 and whatever other games you want.

Don’t wait a few months, your best chance for good deals is during the holiday season. I would wait until Black Friday and you will find some good deals. You might even find bundles with halo 5. I wouldnt wait too long because they are already limiting what is coming out on last gen consoles.
But as for Halo 5, it is well worth it. The game is fun and doesn’t have the issues that Halo MCC had at launch. Since you have played all the other Halo games it seems like you like Halo, This is another great addition to the series.

Also I would get Halo MCC if you get a XONE it is fixed and well worth the improved Halo 2 treatment.

Don’t. The campaign is short and sour, and the multiplayer is extremely light on content.

Maybe it’ll be worth it in a few months, get it used for cheap, but right now for a full 60$? save it for a better game, there are plenty just around the corner.

I say yes. It’s totally worth it

I believe that a lot of, NOT ALL, but a lot of the negative comments you’re seeing are coming from people that were dead set on doing so, before they ever played the game. Heck, they still might not have played it, but they’re commenting anyway

Remember, I said not everybody. There are certainly plenty of people who legitimately feel like the game isn’t as good as they had hoped. I strongly disagree, but hey that’s life. And in the case of this game, in particular, I have never seen a more aggressive effort to dampen the enthusiasm and crap on a game during it’s launch week as I have for Halo 5. I’m convinced that a lot of these people are either dye-in-the-wool Halo 2 purists, who will reject anything new and different, or they’re xbox 360 owners, yet to buy an XBONE or Playstation 4 owners, who need to convince themselves that this game is overrated, or even total garbage, because they hate the idea of there being this awesome game that they aren’t getting to play on their current console of choice

So keep that in mind

Also keep in mind that titles like Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza and Titanfall will also be available to you, if you plunk the money down. Not just Halo. Which to me is worth the money, all on it’s own. But again, that’s just me

I understand your opinions on the campaign (I have really been enjoying it, but that just seems to be my opinion), but I am not sure how the multiplayer is light on content, when you consider the two game modes (arena and warzone - and the fact that the game has launched with a longer campaign and more maps than any previous halo game had at launch) combined with the fact that they will continue to support it with free updates and map packs, it seems to have a lot more content than many other games I have played recently at launch. However, I would say if you are on the fence and don’t want to spend full price, check out black Friday sales (do it online not in person, haha been there done that, don’t need to ever again) you can definitely find some good deals.

Worth every penny

The campaign was barely 5 hours on heroic, hours shorter than 4 was, and multiplayer is only outshined by titanfall in terms of having no gametypes, and most of the maps are forge maps and lazy duplicate maps. If you play slayer you get less maps than in any other halo.

I’m not sure how anyone can look at what Halo 5 comes with and compare it to past halos and say it’s a lot.

Yes you should
