Well, I’m enjoying the game. I’m sorry you’re all still angry and having problems. I’ve been plugging away at all the campaigns and haven’t had any progress reset. I’ve played matchmaking on uneven teams and even teams rather consistently. This has been well worth the money and I’m excited for more patches to keep improving the stability of the game! I’m pretty much over listening to everyone complain. 343i has heard it. I doubt that they will let Halo 5 out the door until it is ready after this fiasco. They are also working on it, releasing weekly patches. Complaining is no longer accomplishing anything. It’s done, this is what we have. So we either enjoy it, or we leave it. Constructive discussions reporting issues and playing the game the way it is our the real options now. I mean honestly. How much more whining can we do. I did it, I’m over it, and now I’ve been making the best of it and having fun. So I’ll keep spamming the forums with more upbeat posts and enjoy what I have.

I was in the same boat with you OP until today’s patch broke everything for me. I’m not mad it’s just a game. I just want my halo to work.
MM kind of worked for me. Not anymore. Also, the menu background is just black now. LoL~this is embarrassing.
Edit: Not “angry and having problems” ~ having problems and angry. I’m a sucker for Halo. It just needs to work.
Can’t have fun if you are not able to find a game. Also, if you try and join with a party your party members get a black screen of death and the party leader freezes. I’m having a blast!

Go play your campaign and solo MM, while the rest of us that have friends and plays Halo multiplayer (because that’s what makes Halo… Halo) will continue be outraged by this broken game and to rip into 343 for continuing to showcase that they have zero clue what they are doing. I know the frustration, but I also know how great it once was and how great it will be when this is all ironed out. Once you consistently jump from game to game all on one console in 1080, 60fps, it will all be worth it. For now, I enjoy the campaigns and play multiplayer here and there. There is a right to be upset, but isn’t time to be constructive about it? We all want it fixed, so we should probably work on reporting our issues. Otherwise we should move on.

Anyone trying to say they find matches quick and don’t see any problems are just playing solo. Come back when you make some friends and try to play in a party. Half the time invites don’t even work “failed to connect”, your friends will end up on the other team, the game will crash and freeze, you have to re-invite eachother after every single match because when you back out of a lobby the game does not take your party with you, the game randomly boots party members during a search in to their own search…etc

I play with a party of 2-3 depending on the evening. The second patch fixed most of those issues for us.

IDK, I’ve finished Halo 2 and 3 on Heroic. Halfway through CE and working on 4. I get matches from time to time. Either play the game or don’t man. -Yoinking!- is doing nothing at this point.

it wont ever be all ironed out man , i feel like they literally have no clue what is going on…my game was somewhat working until they put this “virus” in the game yes i called it a virus because it obviously was not a patch because it broke the game for the majority!

It took them 7 months with Halo 4. 343i isn’t the quickest, but at least they have pumped out updates sooner this time around. It should be fixed some day. Regardless of player population size, I’ll be online playing Halo 2 classic as much as I can once it’s stabilized. 343i sucks at making games apparently, but I don’t care. Playing Halo 2 again will be worth all the -Yoink- to me.
