Between Campaign and War Games as the first thnig I play at 00:20 on 11/6/2012…
I mean, I work nights so staying up late playing isn’t an issue.
And I want to be one of the first people online…
But I feel like skipping straight to Multi-player is heresy…

Same here. It all just looks amazing though. I know that I’ll probably get half way through the campaign and then hop on to war games though for a few matches.
Play Campaign on legendary until you start dying over and over, then go to War Games.

There’ll be plenty of time for MM later, play through the story so that when Spartan Ops starts, you’ll be up to date. 
Play through campaign first, so you are introduced to the characters that will be in Spartan Ops. So you can know the whole idea behind the story in Spartan Ops. Because Spartan Ops happens 6 months after the events in campaign. And the UNSC infinity is in the campaign. So, yeah, might be good to play campaign first.

I think you have War games and Spartan Ops mixed up. Spartan Ops takes 6 months after single player. I for one will play War games first ONLY because I have about 15 friends that will be online that night.
Campaign for me, multi player always comes after the campaign is done, and that’s in all games I play, Battlefield, Gears, Halo etc.
Campaign for the reasons already stated and the simple fact that Halo’s focus has always been the campaign.
I’ll probably do what I did with Reach, one level of campaign, then forge because I love forge, then I don’t know.
Start with Campaign. Get a feeling of the game itself. Finish campaign, then jump to War games.
Depends how long do you think campaign will take to complete on heroic? i will have to mix up the two as i dont want to go into war games cold and get handled…
I’m not sure but i think ill just play a couple of campaign missions then go to War Games for a few matches then jump back to campaign again.
Or the alternative for me would be play through full campaign then go to War Games so that i can get used to the new weapons and abilities and enemies.

lol, oh god, i cant believe you said that. Now im gonna end up taking long on the campaign. oh well 
Campaign for half the day… than in the evening I’m going into War Games!
I love that 343 has made it sort of obligatory to play the campaign first, so you can understand the rest of the game.
This newer generation would probably jump on MP first, which is what they do for CoD.

Well since I am a big forger I will probably hit up 3 missions of campaign make a map then do three more then war games finish campaign then spartan ops and the rest is whatever I feel like.
Always Campaign first, always.
