Well this is so annoying, and it only does it if the capture is over 50%, giving the enemy time to capture it,
everything in halo 5multiplayer makes it seem like it wants me to lose

Agreed. This has happened in Halo for a long time. Its the system searching for a good place to spawn you, as it doesnt want to spawn you in a place where you’ll be spawn killed, and thus it goes down its progression of spawn points until you get farther and farther away. But that takes time to calculate, and more than usual if they have all of the sightlines covered.

i have it happen a lot. it is annoying. its like it happens when a base in near capture but has been halted but still you cant spawn even though the base is still in your possession.
It is set up to not spawn you near an enemy (not always accurate tho ) it might just take time trying to find a respawn point, especially if others are spawning in at the same time.
