I want to enjoy infinite and have the desire to play it, but i just dont. I’ve gone back to mcc which has so much more content and reasons to play.
Now of course it’s been out way longer so its not “fair”, but comparing the two side by side right now it’s not even close. Infinite has fun gameplay, but thats pretty much it and it’s not enough. There is a severe lack of content that makes me not want to play it
So pathetically few maps (and for some reason they’re not adding any more until way later which is a huge mistake) and very few modes even after the ones that were added. No forge so the community cant even help make maps which they can then just add into the playlist rotation
On top of this, the battle pass is really awful. Literally zero weapon skins which is the only cosmetic worth having in an fps game. I dont care at all how my spartan looks because i barely ever see him when im in game.
Even if the BP were better, id find it hard to force myself to play when there is just so little content. This game will probably be good and fun in about 1.5-2 years unless they add a bunch of new maps in very quickly in the near future.
So for now mcc is going to be my main halo game, and ill just play infinite at most a few times a week, only for a couple matches per session. I cant take any more than that it just gets too boring and stale playing on the same maps repeatedly, sometimes the same map twice in a row which is just awful
Yea they’re gonna take a long time to add in new content and core features it’s a real shame. It really is not good at all i think people are giving them a pass since the game is f2p but thats no excuse for such a poor result so far
Is the premium content in R6 as boring as it is in Infinite? When you have a banging good game in R6 do you get some xp and rewards?
I don’t know of any other games that give absolutely nothing, for progression, for actually playing the game.
I don’t give a damn about customisation etc but just prior to launch MCC came out with really sick looking customisation options. Surely they knew they were half-assing their new game.
I think you misunderstood what im saying. I don’t have any problem with the free and premium tracks being separate that is indeed standard for a battle pass
I have a problem with what is actually in the battle pass, or rather what’s not it in. Zero weapon skins, ZERO. That is just sad especially when they did have weapon skins for the battle pass in mcc. It also means theres no reason for me to rank up and try to obtain any rewards
Yes i know, but the sad thing is that i want to enjoy infinite and play it more but i just cant. I wish it were good and had more content now so i wouldnt have to wait a long time before it becomes something fun
Completely agree, mcc is a complete game with so much that you can unlock and grind for. Plus theres so much variety with all the maps/modes and of course multiple games in one package
Really the only advantage infinite has is that its the newest thing but thats not a good enough reason to play it. There’s no substance
They sell battlepasses based on older rainbow six games unlockable content? Promise you that all those unlockables from the older game will be in that battlepass? Then cut some of the older content from those games from the battlepass to sell individually for 20$? Then have less items available to unlock than to buy? Then accidentally sell players items for 20$ that where never meant to go to the store in the first place? Then sell the color blue or red for 15$? Then sell emblems for 7$? And only allow a very minot amount unlocked for an event to create a false sense of length? Then sell another color blue but this time your glove is a lil bluer for an additional 15$?
