If there was a Beta like Reach had, I think a lot of the excitment would’ve been taken away from me. Yes it would’ve been cool to play it but im still glad there wasnt one.
I wanted to play halo 4 beta just to take off this excitement.
I’m glad there wasn’t a beta, too. In regards to Halo, betas have always made things worse, in my opinion.
I dunno.
The Halo 3 Beta was pretty damn awesome, you could fly the banshee out of Valhalla into space. Yes ACTUAL space.

You could do that in Halo 2 as well. CE, had the best though… you could be in space, during the first mission, without any vehicle.
God I love those kind of glitches…
I’m glad we didn’t get a beta as well. Although it would’ve been cool to play it early, I personally think people would be a lot more judgmental with changes being put in after the beta is done and over. People would be complaining, “OMG why did the Carbine get nerfed?!?!” or “OMG why did PV get nerfed?!?!” etc.
After people have gotten to play the retail version of Halo 4, there would undoubtedly be people claiming that the Halo 4 beta was sooooo much better than the retail version of the game. Much like what Reach went through.
