Wow this post is ancient.

> I said this tonight actually. The more I play, the worse I seem to get…idk what the hell is going on.
I felt the same, but I figured the ranking system is just matching me with players of my own skill level therefore I am not dominating like I was before
Also everyone else is figuring out all the little tricks on all the maps that they didn’t use before, so if you don’t keep up with them you fall behind
The smaller the community the smaller the skill gap… or in other words there ain’t no noobs or newbs or any severely unskilled players left to pick on.
Nah, the ranks are jacked… I somehow get demolished by mid-ranks, (Platinum’s… then the occasional Gold’s or Diamond’s) yet last season I placed Onyx and could hang?
Then I place Platinum 6 this season and easily go positive against these (now) similar ranks? Like Sprees every game, even Frenzies. Now it feels like I’m under-ranked. It’s almost like ranks don’t even mean anything… very inconsistent.
Something’s not right…

totally agree, little choked that I lost some legendary reqs in warzone guess im back to ar and pistol, had enough of trying to help out my teams
Playing warzone literally makes you worse. Also, in the beta, the default aim acceleration was 2 instead of 3 like it is now. I personally have found my accuracy to increase by switching to lower sensitivities at onyx level matchmaking, and have heard many people claim the same thing.
My k/d started off really high and now it has dropped to like a 1.6 or something like that and has stayed between that and a 2. To get your k/d up you want to do this.
-Yoink- my kd not kda started at a 1.4 now it’s a 1.2 overall and slayer this season is a 1.1. We were getting completely owned by gold ranks last night, which NEVER happened before the last reset. I just kept saying something isn’t right. If golds are really trashing me like this what are onyx players like this time around?
The reason why people are getting worse is because they play to mich, don’t play for a day or two and you will come back nice and refreshed and ready to kill some people again (this works for me)
Maybe try lowering your look acceleration, its helps for me.
I’ve been gradually getting worse too, I’m doing okay and holding my own at the minute but rarely am I going in and dominating a game.
only complaint i have is playing 5 games loosing 4 and being top player every game. kinda brings you down, like whats the point of doing amazing if you cant even win a game.

Definitely this. I often have the same issue play day after day then start to play badly. Take a day or two (or longer if you feel the need) and when you come back get a couple of warm up games and you should be back on point.

Its always been a little like that as a solo player though, for me i have found it tends to balance out OK.
These are some good tips, its so frustrating I often feel as though I notice the game changes like sensitivity or controls after an update… Can anyone say the notice the same… There hs to be an issue with the game as so many ppl notice its constant difficulty, however i will tey the tips suggested previously in the post
Pretty sure that the reason you guys have gotten worse is because most of the halo population play with a keyboard + mouse. FPS games are much easier thay way.

I took a week off…
Hi, all…Long time listener first time poster. I’ve noticed my K/D has dropped dramatically. When I started playing the game I had my rough patches…had games where I would have 3-4 deaths before I got a kill. But after figuring a few things out…(the value or Melee, how important head shots are as compared to games such as Call of Duty, etc etc.) I started to get batter. But it was at that point that I plateaued and haven’t gotten any better and based on the numbers I’ve actually gotten worse. It seems as though the people I’m playing against aren’t doing anything special and their skill level isn’t better than mine (You can tell when your in a game where people are just better than you) it’s almost as if the game is just completely random. I would like Halo developers to address these issues. And if they cannot I would like at the very least an apology and some money for depression medication.
It’s because all the noobs saturating the multiplayer at launch have left. Those dedicated to the game are the only ones you’ll see around.
TL;DR, No more nooby cannon fodder on the enemy teams.
