Got into a battle with one, he was pretty much on par with my shots and we ended up trading xD

if you can, try to find some cover or use an armor ability to get an advantage, strafing won’t help you win all the time especially if your opponent has fast reactions, sometimes you have to play cheap to win.

Using cover is not playing cheap, it is being smart. Now, if you’re popping your head out every second for like 5 minutes. that’s playing cheap. Don’t ever tell people to play cheap to win in Halo. You sound like a Reach noob. There is nothing better than a good 1v1 fight.
