I'm getting sick of these game invites people

I swear ever since Nov 6, people have been sending me invites to play Halo 4 with them. But here is the catch, these morons are in the same game as me. WTF is this. I would not be bothered if they wanted me to join their game, but this idiots are ALWAYS in the same lobby as I am. I Had even finished playing 3 games with them before. So why are they inviting me to play Halo 4? People playing this game are becoming stupid. I mean this happens to be every day. Feels like a prank.

Any one else dealing with this problem?

Are you a girl?

Someone needs to calm down…

> Are you a girl?

No. But even if I was, why would you invite me to a game that both of us are in the lobby for? It makes no sense.

I haven’t had this problem, does seem strange.

Pardon me for stating the obvious, but when interacting with other people on the internet I’ve found very little they do actually makes any kind of sense.

Trying to figure it out is just going to give you a nose bleed.

maybe so you get put on the same team?

it’s for the next game, so you guys will be partnered together. it’s essentially partying in halo 4, without the actual xbox360 party. hope that clears it up for you

This has actually happened to me, too, albeit only twice. Both times the player who was inviting me to play was actually in the game with me. It made no sense and it still doesn’t.

there probably looking at you profile and not meaning to accidently hitting the invite option

I just needed to blow out some steam regarding this matter, or else my head would have exploded.

^This, I have done this several times by accident when just browsing through service records waiting for the game to start

Because even if you were on the same team int he next game it mixes up the teams for some reason… So that team you totally beat the piss out of that team with would be split up the next game. So party up… Why? I don’t know, nothing 343 has done in the u.i./lobby system has made much sense.

I know I do accidentally trying to check service records. So that might be it but sir you need to calm down…

Honestly who hasn’t I know I have lol

That is no reason for that manny invites in a day. This format for XBL has been out for many years now, and guess how often this happens in other games. Almost never. In this game is almost always.

Well people may want you on their team because they see your rank, low levels and newer players would think it gives an advantage to them.

maybe they were looking at your service record and pressed the wrong button. They probably wanted to see your stats to see if you were a challenge or not and accidentally pressed the invite to party option.

You don’t need to use the xbox guide for this btw. Just just select their player card in a lobby and get the options to invite to party and right under that is service record stats.

Just a guess.

Same here, but it has gotten better.

Does the Halo 4 MM system work like that? If it does that kind of sucks. That means you could go from a good team to a bad team, or visa versa. This only makes me angrier about the invites now.
