I'm getting annoyed... (Bug/Glitch)

All right, I’m getting REALLY damn tired of this stupid issue I’ve been having recently.

I’ll be playing, and then suddenly it looks like I’m being kicked out, everyone starts running into walls, all that crap, but then it reverts back to normal. Of course, after this, I’m usually dead or somewhere where I don’t want to be positioned in. This happens consistently every 2- 3 mins yet my internet has been perfectly okay recently.

These are just a few of many examples.

It annoys the crap out of me. Losing or nearly losing FFA’s and encounters because of this. Losing power weapons, OV, and even Camo because of this BS. Does anyone else besides me experience this? Have you somehow managed to fix it? Restarting the game and hard restarting the console haven’t worked so far.

thats lag, nothing more nothing less

I’m not so sure. This lag would be irregular then.

When you lag in Halo 5, you typically sling shot back and forth in the direction where you were going.

This feels like something else because when I lag, I lag for minutes at a time. It wouldn’t make sense for me to play perfectly inbetween these times that I “freeze” when normally I can’t even clamber on to something without seeing the animation a gazillion times.

There’s also the thing that I’m sure everyone has still going on: screen freezing. Everyone I know has had that happened to them, usually happens as a chain reaction between players when it happens. So it may be a new issue with the servers or truly just me. Though I doubt the latter.

Never experienced this issue. Really definitely looks like lag.
If your convinced it isn’t because of your ISP, try connecting your Xbox One via Ethernet cable instead of WiFi, and see if the problem persists.
If it does try re-installing Halo 5. Could be an issue with the install, but I really doubt this.

Happy to help. Also, Xbox connecting to the internet via Ethernet cable download games and updates way faster and it slightly lowers ping, so if your setup allows that I’d definitely recommend you perpetuate the Ethernet cable in your Xbox One.
