I'm fine with Halo progression

Many people out there, the ‘true Halo fans’ as they would describe themselves, have become very vocal in their criticisms of 343i and the direction Halo is going in. I won’t go into all the examples, but one off the top of my head is the new aiming down the sight feature from the Halo 5 BETA gameplay.

343i haven’t done this to simply copy COD and piss off the ‘true halo fans’ who believe gameplay should be restricted to an aiming-assist reticule with little realistic aiming. This is the stuff of gaming from the 2000s. Don’t get me wrong, it was great at the time, but now that gaming is more advanced, Halo is simply catching up.
I mean, aiming down the sight isn’t a COD feature, it’s simply what people do in real life when firing a weapon (not to mention practically every other shooter game now). 343i, if you’re reading this, I salute you for bringing Halo to the 2010s in fashion.

I’m very confident 343i will do a terrific job with Halo 5, I’m positive they’ll be able to balance that true Halo feeling (we all love), with new updated features.

And suit zoom is simply what people do when they have mechanical augmentations that allow it.
The only reason we have pseudo-ADS is to appeal to new gamers.

I’m not even pissed about it. In fact, I think it’s a smart move on their part. I just accept the real reason as to why they did it.

So you’re saying Halo’s suit zoom is realistic enough? I mean I don’t necessarily disagree, but isn’t the reticule just a ‘helping-hand’ from the developers of the game? If it’s this case then yes I’d prefer we lean towards ADS.
However, if the reticule is a functionary of the MJOLNIR suit and is actually connected with the armour, I’m keen for 343i to keep it.
