I'm fed up with haters on Halo.

There have been countless times where I’ve been criticized via game chat / messages, teabagged for days on end, and simply getting disrespected in all sorts of different manners. While I am guilty of committing this unacceptable behavior back in my early days, I’ve clearly changed for the better. I mean, clearly I’ve done nothing wrong, yet some people decide otherwise during / after a match. I bet at one point, we have been criticized at some point(s) during our Halo career.

Some say that I suck.
Some say that I’m a noob.
Some say that I should quit Halo.
Others simply flare out mean comments entirely.

…to those who have decided to criticize others (and me), I’ll tell you this: Sticks and stones may break my bones, but your words ain’t got nothin’ on me!

In other words, don’t be a -Yoink- in Halo (or in any game, really). Because why even do so in the first place? What’s the benefit? You’re simply embarrassing yourself in front of countless people rather than embarrassing a particular person. If you can’t stand my incompetence, just leave and nobody gets hurt. No need to rub your “superiority” into my face (and my team) during or after a match. Just because you “pwned” the entire enemy team doesn’t warrant you to talk down on everyone on said team. Just suck it up, keep your words and opinions to yourself, and move on. It can’t possibly get anymore simpler and painless than that.

So then why does this thread exist?
Alright listen, there will always, no matter what, be some guy that just acts like a -Yoink!- to everyone. It’s everywhere, it’s unavoidable, and it can’t be prevented from happening. What can happen is preventing it from affecting you, AKA muting them. You don’t need to try to convince them to act for the better. It’s their emotions, let them handle it, and let your actions decide which is better, blocking their communication methods and happily playing on, or not blocking them, letting the hate get to you and allowing threads like these to exist.
Nothing personal on you, OP, but if there’s one thing I’m fed up with, it’s the recent influx of these threads.

Wraith is right: mute, block, and report options are your friends. Leave negative feedback too.

I long ago gave up on trying to stop the sadly ubiquitous practice of teabagging in halo. Want to stop it happening? Only way I know is toavoid dying or at least only die to long-range shooting.

Beyond that… as with all trolls just take solace in the fact that anyone who does that probably doesn’t have much else going for them and that, while unfortunate that their outlet is our hobby, they need an outlet because they probably have precious few friends to help them.

Who cares. -Yoink- em’!

We need more good people like you running around. Let’s show those punks what we got.
