I was thinking of this. Something that I don’t think many people have pointed out, and that’s the future of Halo and it’s past. The progression of time and memories. Memories we will hopefully never forget from this game.
Halo’s original games have all or soon will all have fond memories in our hearts. For me I was nearly 10 years old when Halo:CE came out. I can still remember sleep overs with my best friend. I can remember lan games, and totally sucking :P. And each game gave me memories, gave me fun, and I have loved each game. Yet now I am 21, Those days are gone yet still new compared to the vastness of the future.
Halo has a new trilogy coming out. And I can expect that Halo 6 may as well come out without ten years from now (assuming each game would take 2-3 years to make, lets hope). Which means Halo 6 could be coming out by 2018 to 2022. (I think I’m doing my general math right here)
So I’ll be in my thirties. 30 something years old. Just thinking about it is a bit of a shock. That when I’m 30 I’ll have 20 or so years to look back on. I can’t really tell what I’ll be doing then, how I’ll feel. And the same goes for anyone else here, new or old. I can only expect that when Halo is finally finished, when the fight is done, that Microsoft will respect Halo and let it sleep.
Yet for now I’m going to look forward to the new memories. I’m sure they will give me something to be happy about as they do now.
Enjoy the path.
