It’s not fun to play solo, I’ve never once successfully defended a base or core against prometheans on anything but wave 5 and that’s only happened once. The balancing is honestly terrible I leave cover to shoot at an enemy and have no shields in 0.5 seconds. Why does your shield not recharge if you sprint? This isn’t PvP me running away should be okay but apparently that’s not allowed either.
Did 343 even play test these Promethean rounds? Because if they did I think they forgot to take into account solo players and the fact that not everybody is going to pop a tank round 3.

1: I’m solo. look me up: Apex Slide. I get by just fine.
2: People are children who don’t play objectively. Deal with it. I just turn my mic off whilst I scream at them for being retarded. On those rare occasions though, I let loose through my mic because they’re honestly so bad that they don’t deserve to be playing Halo at all. That’s happened 3 times so far.
3: They’re set to Legendary difficulty at least. If you’ve ever played Halo on Legendary, you’d know this.
4: Because it’s still on a PVP playlist. What part of that don’t you get?
5: There was a closed Alpha that 343i did, then there was a public Beta. You honestly didn’t do your research.
6: Halo 5 is a TEAM GAME and you should learn to work AS A TEAM even if that team is a bunch of children.
7: I understand that some rounds are complete and utter BS, and I’ve had multiple rants about it. They need to change it, the balance for some of them is just insane. But for now, you just have to make do with what you have. A loss is a loss, but you still get XP and REQ points. It’s not a competitive thing, it’s called HAVING FUN, something which a lot of people don’t understand
I play solo and have been successful quite often. Keep in mind two things right now. #1 it’s the free week to play so A LOT of newbies are playing. They don’t know the req system and even if they did they won’t have the reqs. #2 even some that have been playing warzone firefight is new. The buffed the hell out of it compared to the beta so it’s going to take most players some time to get a good grasp at when to use their reqs. One thing I don’t thing most realize is tanks are almost required on some maps to be successful.

My idea of fun in a PVE game is just shooting up enemies and holding out for as long as I can. If I wanted to go play a game that requires militaristic coordination, I’d go raiding in Destiny.
I have alot of fun playing solo. We have all had bad games OP. Try taking a breather.
The key is that as soon as you reach REQ level 3, get vehicles or power weapons. A ghost will do a lot of damage if you play smart. I’ve got a few games under my belt with only one death because of a ghost.
the thing is warzone ff is in fact well balanced they just need to fix enemy spawning(don’t put warden in a base or that mantis) and the time it takes for the boss’s ads to respawn
If the timer and the enemies worked at the same time it’d be more balanced, for a cheap and unfair reason the timer ticks away before bosses or enemies spawn in. So you actually never have 5 full minutes and that’s unacceptable, why is like that?
You end up wasting 30 seconds sometimes before the banshee raiders or promethian elites ever show up.
Playing the first and second day was great… It seems like a lot of people must have took advantage of the free download and Jacked everything up. I couldn’t get into one solo winning game today. No one knows how to play or pull reqs… Some games players with 0 kills and 20 deaths, with the exception of 3 players that scored kills. Game over at level one…How hard is it to kill a grunt?
I’m not done with WZFF but I’ll wait to play until the freebie is over and hopefully it goes back to normal. Or maybe the new players will stay and learn how to play. Either way is fine with me.
There’s a lot that needs to be tweeked in this game… spawns are main thing. The 2 Wardens on Apex has way too many Knights protecting them. The req levels aren’t high enough to pull the vehicles out to kill them all before the clock runs out.
The game get bored quickly… Sad.
343 did playtest but they did so with “pro team” that’s why when presented with the task of killing a non hyjackable mantis in a base surrounded by knights with incarceration canons the average player calls that impossible.

I’ve done that with a team of players with no comics. Beat the last Mantis with 8 seconds to spare.

343 only cares about the MLG try hard wannabe “pro players” everything they’ve put out only caters to those kind of players. Why do you think WZFF has timed rounds and scoring? it’s just another BS competitive addition to a gametype that shouldn’t be that way.
why does everything have to be so G0DD@MN competitive in this game?!

Amen man!
Some aspects of WZFF are fun, others just aren’t. Some of the decisions they’ve made are baffling.

I am finding quite a few aspects incredibly frustrating. I’m still playing but really hope they can patch a few things soon, e.g, spawn locations.

I played a game where we all spent 1 whole minute just looking for an enemy to kill.
I think enemies should spawn as soon as the round starts and not 100+ meters away.

Wait did they actually say they tested Firefight with a Pro Team? Because if so that just shows how out of touch they are with the casual players and PvE in general.

Yes like a 30 seconds respawn in a 5 minutes round.

The “git gud” crew would say don’t die, but I’ve had some super cheap deaths happen to me recently on round 5. My favorite is when elites track your movement even though they can’t actually see you yet and throw a sticky nade with such pin point accuracy it’ll stick you perfectly from across the map or even if you’re above them. I can forgive their laser like precision with a storm rifle but the sticky nade hail mary miracles are getting on my nerves.
I am beginning to think that 343 didn’t know how to make the enemies interesting enough to fight in a new way each time and instead just made it all super cheap and called it a day. Then when people complain its just stupidly hard and unfair they’ll spin it as “challenging” to distract you with the slap dash job they did.
