The lack of community centered support for this game is absolutely astonishing. NOBODY WANTS MORE USELESS ARMOR UPGRADES OR REQ WEAPONS. What we want are an updated UI/lobby, new game-types, an actual file share, fixed forged…the list goes on and on. Forged maps don’t count as “dlc”, 5 game-types is pathetic, and matchmaking is so unbalanced. Truly a shame that this franchise has been flushed down the toilet and cash rules all. I want this game to be good, I really do, but what is 343 doing??

They only care about the Esports side of the game. The casual community is getting thrown under the bus for halo 4 and reach. Wonder why half the forge maps being made are old arena maps? just look at that and you’ll see the answer.

Sorry to hear it, but i cant blame you whatsoever. I’ve been playing Reach a lot l until this game gets a significant content update. I hope Halo can survive through this 
What pisses me off the most is the Matchmaking pairing. Why in the hell do 3 random people and myself go against teams of 4? Why in the hell do I get matched up with Plats/Low Diamonds and go against a team of 4 Onyx? It’s a joke. This company is worthless.

I didn’t have too many problems before with team pairings but recently I’ve been getting screwed over with teammates that are not a level close to mine…and then to add insult to injury we’re going up against people that are at a much higher rankings than all of us. Whats the point of even having a ranking system if the matchmaking games aren’t going to follow it!! Pisses me off so much
The root problem is with the ranking system…it shouldn’t be based on wins alone. It makes no sense to say that someone who had to carry the losing team (lets say going 15 kills and 5 deaths) isn’t as skilled as someone who barely made a difference on the winning team (lets say going 2 kills and 12 deaths). No way in hell does the person on the winning team deserve to rank up while the leader on the losing team ranks down. Thats just bullcrap 343…modify the ranking system so people won’t keep getting -Yoinked!- over!

win loss is the only reliable way to reward skill, as skill varies in implementation. However, win loss sorta requires a decent number of games to sort out those games when someone is getting carried.

i knew the game would degrade into a cash grab by a greedy money hungry company that has more care in making as much money from their microtransactions then they have in creating a decent gaming experience
im not trying to tell people how to spend their money but if you honestly want to see a change, a shift in philosophy and priorities

This in theory would not work. They’ve already made money off the reqs, so saying to stop now would be pointless. The updates are free, so we can’t say we aren’t paying with those either. Also to be fair, a large portion of everyday players like myself or those who did actually buy everything(to each their own) would actually have plenty of req points saved by now that when the new update hits they wouldn’t have to spend a dollar. The update is small this month because they just moved to a new studio, I expected it to be small. But the game is not over yet, and the updates are still coming. We knew about the update system long before the game released, and the only guarantee we were given was 15 non forge maps. So we can’t really say we expected a ton of stuff. With that said, I do hope in the February update they give us a couple playlists.

Not armor upgrades. Same armor variants BUT WITH DIFFERENT UGLY MARKINGS ON THEM!
They couldn’t just give us blank armor and have us choose the markings in the menu with colors… No, because instead of 200 they’d only have 40…
