I'm done with reach.

I shall no longer play this game… funnily enough, black screens combined with monumental aren’t that appealing.

Hey dude, dont give up !!!

I know the blackscreen problem cause of hostchange after the game starts and in the game.
Because of the blackscreen Halo 4 needs dedicated servers.

Dont leave Halo. There will be better days…
Want some cockies?

I am surprised it took you that long to leave reach, because I started to pack up a little less then a year after reach released after finally realising the things I hate about in reach are in no other halo and the things I like about Halo reach was done better in other halos so I packed up my bags and moved unto halo 3 and assassin’s creed games until I can finally have a good halo experience

I left reach in the first 3 months of its release. don’t go back into the shadows, rise above the darkness that is reach!

> I left reach in the first 3 months of its release. don’t go back into the shadows, rise above the darkness that is reach!

Nocturnal, The Nightingales, Sithis, The Night Mother and Puppy are disappoint…

Ta ta for now!!!

(you’ll be back)

i usually take a month or two off after getting disgusted by reach’s sub par gaming mechanics and constant black screens due to frustrated newbs. i just started playing again and this game cracks me up. as far as i can tell, the only people that play this game seem to get worse and worse by the day. you would think after not playing it for a while you would get owned at first till you shake the rust off, but i go at minimum +10 almost every single game i play.

it would be a lot nicer if the game offered more of a challenge for higher skilled players

your like the 1 millionth person to say “I’m done with Reach” but that doesn’t necessarily mean your done with Halo, does it?

Try some different playlists/gametypes, dont sit here and say that everyone sucks at reach because YOU did good after a long break. If you want a challenge then try something else, either way there is still 120,000+ that like to play it so no, its not a horrible game like these 12 year olds try to say. If you didnt like it then thats too bad, but it doesnt make it any less better than Halo3

Its rather humorous how Halo 2, and Halo 3 MM had my attention far longer than Reach ever did. (I played both Halo 2 and 3 online for more than 3 years).

Reach just implemented systems into gameplay that I didn’t like such as AA’s and the bloom system which doesn’t punish spammers nearly as much as it should. To be fair, Halo 3 lasted as long as it did because of the “try hards” in the ranked playlists (obviously the custom options partnered with forge did quite a job aswell). Halo 3 also had a substantial population 3 years into it’s life which I feel Reach isn’t living up to just short of a year.

Good job Bungie for killing off the competitive half of Halo (giving us the lame Arena) and adding things like AAs and bloom. While these mechanics are fun for social/casual playlists, competitors obviously looked upon the past ranking systems with much more enthusiasm.

For all the softies who claim “ranks just make people jerks” and “I hate being a hated on just because I’m a low rank or avoid ranks completely” - get over it. Life is competition, start off strong in life by learning how to get competitive, or handle and ignore the airheads that bug you. Sorry but tough sh**

[Bring ranks back, try and bring back your competitive crowd 343!]

PS: I’m not a Reach hater, I still play, but want better things for the game!

You will be back, they all come back.

Yah, I came back after a 6-8 month “vacation” from Reach. I only came back because of:

  1. The TU
  2. My best friend finally got XBL

I still get bored of Reach the quickest out of all of the Halo games. I know that I will probably be playing a lot of Reach in the month leading up to Halo 4 lol.

am i the only one that has no idea what he was talking about?

While you might not have cared for the living dead playlist in its current form, I have been told it will closer resemble the Halo 3 version after the tuesdays TU, any intrest in that?

To be honest, no. I didn’t play it much in Halo 2, 3, or Reach. I have tried it out a few times, but felt boring most of the time to me. I’ve even tried Grifball a few times but felt it was meh at best.

What does the TU do to LD? I know that new maps are being added, but is there anything else?

Beside the new maps I hear that they are adding destuctible obstacles, which I hear are going to make an appearence in Halo 4. I think it might be a sneak peak into the future of matchmaking.

When I see comments like this I always wonder why someone posting anonymously on the web thinks there is any value in such announcements. People stop playing Reach every day. People stop playing GOW every day too, and COD, and every other game. Thankfully the vast majority see no value in making a public announcement about their decisions.
