lol i love these threads. Mainly because their over-emotional tone betrays any notion that most of them have actually quit Halo.

It’s the perfect topic to get a rise out of people and is guaranteed responses however.
At the games core it can be played very well classically. It’s fun and fast. I’m enjoying the new skin of it, but I like that I can have it truly like the past games. I couldn’t do that to well in reach because of bloom and when they took it out, the weapon just wasn’t designed to be with out bloom and fell on it’s face.
All world drops, no sprint, smaller maps to adjust for that, no armor abilities or any other mod thing. There you go, classic Halo on a good engine.
I like Halo 4 but do have to say there were less glitches in the Reach beta than there are in the Halo 4 release code. Every day seems to cause more glitches it seems.
Halo 4 just badly needed a good public beta and a further six months refinement is all.

OP: Goodbye and good riddance. If you don’t like Halo 4 you can easily pop in 3. I’m tired of all these people whining about Halo 4. I agree that it doesn’t exactly live up to CE, 2, 3, or Reach, but instead of whining and complaining, just say whats wrong and give some constructive criticism. If you don’t like 4, there are 6 other Halo’s you can still play and 2 others you can still play online.

Games need change. While some of the changes in Halo 4 are not welcome it is still a bloody fantastic game and my favourite Halo title since Halo 2. Imagine if we just got Halo 2.5. I don’t want Halo 2.5 I want Halo 4. I want something new. Like I said I do not enjoy some of the things in the game such as the unbalanced DMR or the instant re-spawns. Also, join in progress is stupid. But anyways this game is amazing and people need to stop thinking of the past, and start thinking of the present. Us Halo fans constantly bash CoD fans because their game is the same every year. Imagine if we just had the same game over and over again, it would be boring. The changes to Halo still has not taken away the feeling of the game, it feels like Halo, not like any other game. So will people stop saying “Halo 3 was better because this game isn’t the same as Halo 3”. Halo 4 isn’t Halo 3, it is Halo 4 and it is -Yoinking!- awesome. It is new.

Like Black Edge said, if you feel that way and don’t want to be patient and realistic about your expectations and use constructive criticism, just cut your losses and go. You’re not doing anyone any good by posting this garbage, and a there are people out there who are doing the right thing to get their problems addressed but their posts are getting lost in a sea of this trash.
343 has made a lot of mistakes with this installment, but they also made some significant improvements. The answer to any problems you have with the game isn’t to give up on halo, but let your voice be heard. 343 is still a rookie developer and they’re still trying to figure out what us halo fans truly want. I still have tons of faith in them, and I trust that will fix any grievances with a title update and make halo 5 the best one yet.

Wow you play one franchise for 11 years, your so awesome. No you know what sucks is the amount of video games you played. Why should I even take you joke of an opinion serious. You have no idea what a bad game actually is or what it feels like. Your point is invalid but maybe I am wrong tell me halo 4 is worse than sonic 06? My question is how much time have you put in to Halo for the last 11 years because your comment is similar to former wow players it’s not that the game sucks you just tired of halo.

You and the growing majority, OP. I put the game away, plan to only put it back in next week for the SO achievements and then i’m done with it.
Sadly OP, if this game doesn’t get fixed, (Biggest problem being the DMR.) than I will be done with Halo as well. I really don’t want quit Halo, but there’s no point in trying to stay on this game in the state it’s in. It’s still a Halo game to me, but it’s a broken one.
EVERYONE that puts up all of these troll comments on the forums are entirely missing the point. YOU decided months and months ago that this game was going to be the greatest game in the history of games. but in truth, you just set your standards too high, which ruined the game for you. i set my standards particularly high for this game, and yes, i am disappointed that some stuff is missing. but in no way is this game awful, or trash, or broken (except for the Ordinance Drops). Play the game for what it is, not what you want it to be. 343i has said they will be putting up weekly updates, which they have kept true to. Just because they arent fixing YOUR issues doesnt mean they dont listen to the entire community of halo.

like i have said before, this is a good halo game, obviously since reach they have changed it and made it more intresting, whats the point of wanting a new halo game, if you want all the elements to remain the same, thats what makes them unique and their own game, im not stopping here, i personally love halo 4, its not perfect, alot, alot of problems but still fun all the same
