Well this is it, I said I would be leaving as it came closer to the January exams. And seeing as 343 has screwed up -yet again- I for one am done. I’ll be back for the TU and if that falls flat, I’ll be back to encourage people to boycott Halo 5.
I suppose I better say some closing epic words, or describe my time with Halo but -Yoink- that; I only have one thing to say:
-Yoink- you 343.
You took the franchise we loved and screwed it over for many of the community. You poorly handled the game - with the spec. codes and now the DLC; not to mention Halo 4’s massive unbalances, lack of testing, disregard for the competitive community, the lack of a classic playlist and the god awful writing behind Spartan Ops. The Halo 4 population is at a pathetically low level for an AAA franchise and as new games are released the population will fall further.
And to those who still play the game -from loyalty to the franchise or for some other reason- take a good look at 343. Do they look like an organised company? Does it look like they can make a balanced, well thought out game? And does it look like they (and therefore Microsoft) deserve your money?
And for those who enjoy the game: I hope you enjoy this series as much as I enjoyed the first three - I really do mean that, it was a blast.
If flinch was gone, instant spawn was gone and boltshot was gone, this would probably be my favorite halo game… but now it goes H2 (cause of LIVE), H1, H3, H4, Reach.

This paragraph should’ve been written a year ago, by an internal employee during play testing.
The Guitar-Heroification phase of the Halo franchise has begun. Rake in the money, kill the brand.
