Im dissapointed

How the frame rates suck in splitscreen…

Before blamming the console for “old technology” you must consider that it is 343’s fault for exceding the limits.

Halo 3 and reach didnt had any issues in regards to frame rates being compared with halo 4.

Those maps really need a fix for splitscreen.

  • Complex
  • Vortex
  • Meltdown
  • Impact forge world
  • Crimson map pack:
    Wreckage, Harvest and Shatter.

(Shatter is the king of the framerates destruction, is impossible to play splitscreen)

Can this be adressed with a Tittle Update?

Can the graphics be lowered for splitscreen ?

I need a yes or no answer since this is really depressing…

No one?

I have a plasma 600 hz refresh.
Works fine for me.
You playing on something a little lower?
try upgrading your tv man.
Led and lcd aren’t renowned great for gaming.
But if thats not the case by all means I hope its not just you and your not stuck with it forever.
It sounds like an annoying problem for you and your guests.

I have a decent TV so thats not the case, and besides I have read that halo 4 splitscreen fails so much, but why ? Didnt 343 tested this before finishing the game? Or were they really greedy and unprofessional ?

Please a moderator or someone, can you take this to discussion to 343?

I wouldn’t know. Knowing how abysmal split screen is for Halo MP, my brother invested in his own TV and console w/games so we don’t have to suffer. No more watered down graphics and frame rate issues :stuck_out_tongue:

If there are major issues with 4 player split, i don’t the experience has been that great with any of the online Halos when you do that ;/

I hate splitscreen in general. Never cared for having to play with a crushed perspective.

Isn’t the answer obvious? Ofcourse they were greedy and unprofessional.

343 were so arrogant they thought they didnt need a Beta, even though Bungie, the experienced Halo dev, needed one for reach.

Splitscreen is an afterthought for them, they have your money, why should they release a TU to fix your problems AFTER you have bought the game?

Are you sure its the game and not your tv?

My split screen looks exactly like single player

Reach had problems with split screen. They also lowered the graphics for split screen in Reach.

Hace you played online on the maps I mentioned?

> Reach had problems with split screen. They also lowered the graphics for split screen in Reach.

That was a solution for Bungie but why didnt 343 implemented this?

Please add ‘Shatter’ to your list, this map is practically unplayable 95% of the time in split screen.

Edit: Missed the Crimson Map Pack part in the OP :stuck_out_tongue:

Still, it is very frustrating that split screen, one of most beloved features in Halo is now broken :frowning:

Read again my post man. It is mentioned there inside the crimson map pack.

Spit screen is slowly dying. Im sure in time that it will be reduced down to only allowing one guest player for online play

You only need one splitscreen guess in order to experience what I am stating in the OP.

I have not tried 3-4 player splitscreen but I dont want too, I think it will be worse.

necessary evil, so many people buy games off of graphics alone and everyone expects a new title to look much better. also had to do it to please critics who love mentioning graphics as well.
