The article said that “Elites aren’t playable”. This could either mean that you can’t play as Elites at all or that the Game Informer employees couldn’t play as Elites.

I hope it’s because they couldn’t, I think they said some of the customization options were blurred out. Maybe playing as an elite was one of them. On the other hand they seriously need their gauntlets back, their arms look so skinny, small, and fragile compared to their oversized feet. Make the feet a little more proportional and add more armor or add more meat to their arms and they will look 100% awesome! Right now their 90% 
Elites won’t be playable in Multiplayer.
I hope so sense the Elites did give diversity to something that was the same in halo ce
