There is teams, & no teams FFA? But why not have Team & FFA at same-time?
Meaning You could be on a team with 4, 6, or 8 players & rest could be free-for all. People on teams could be set up so they can’t die from team members & FFA people could be happy being on one solo team, me.
This way you get the best of both worlds.
Seriously, I’d love this. I know this cause uneven odds, but if you aware of it, you don’t have to play it.
This would help clans as then they could be on x team while others are on their team. I do realize this would only work on BTB, but hey, its an idea.
FFA keeps custom armour colors & team players could keep custom armour colors or set a default out rgb colors.

Exactly. & this would help me create a new game-type called Gold Diggers. Hence why I would like this in custom games & in MM, so far some said they didn’t like it because of everyone going on themselves, in options you can set up
In Custom Menu Display:
Teams: Enabled, Disabled, Custom Group
How many people in team 1 - 8
How many people in FFA
Appearance for Team 1
Appearance for Team 2
etc
That way it can be played fairly.

Nope, teams or no teams. You can set-up so you have 3 on one team & 4 on the other, but all teams are set on friendly fire enabled, so my idea wouldn’t work.

I think it’s a really bad idea. Why would anyone play it solo? You’ve got pretty much no chance of winning. It’s you against a team and randoms. I don’t think it would get many people playing it.

It really depends on the quality of the people playing. I’ve gone on Gold team by myself in Custom Games before, and the majority of the players started switching to my team because I was winning.
Though, it wouldn’t be practical unless it was against teams of noobs or people with no tactical prowess.

3 people on blue team
1 person on green
1 person on yellow
1 person on purple
1 person on orange
I forget how many different teams are allowed (well actually I just don’t know as far as halo 4 custom game options go)…
as for the original topic. I think it’s a terrible idea that would be less fun than when people used to team up and boost in lone wolves

Except the fact you can’t enable/disable friendly fire per team is what I’m getting at.
