so ive heard bloom is out and all but in some of the videos ive watched it looks like some of the weapons have bloom, i know the BR has some kick and all but im unsure exactly what is going on lol… someone help sorry if this is dumb just wanted some clarity.
There is bloom on the DMR and Magnum but it isn’t as noticeable as it is in Halo Reach.
You can almost say it is non-existent.
The BR has recoil instead of bloom. This means when firing the reticule will move upwards until the shot ends. To have the most accurate shot the player can push the reticule down, nullifying the reticule, making for a more consistent shot than bloom can offer.
The DMR has very miniscule bloom, it will hardly effect you unless you are shooting cross-map.
The Magnum has DMR bloom from Reach, but it expands faster.
The BR has a tiny bit of recoil, but no bloom. The Carbine from what I can see has neither.
The Assault Rifle has much tighter base spread, but it expands to outside the reticle.
The Storm Rifle is similar when compared to the Plasma Repeater from Reach. Although it shares the Assault Rifle’s tighter base spread.
The Sniper has bloom, but it is only for show.
yeah im just wondering because i would really love to be able to shoot face paced, to keep the game fast and exciting, i really got annoyed with the bloom in reach
