I'm confused...What is 343 doing?

I’ve had this game for PC since launch, which now I can’t even remember when that was. I loved the first Halo Wars and was extremely hyped when I heard that a sequel was going to be released. I was even more excited when I found out that it was going to be released on the PC. Since then I’ve only played this game a few times and I’m starting to try to get myself to play it now that all the frame issues are fixed. The game has its moments when it is extremely fun in game and keeps me very excited and on the edge of my seat. However, it seems like 90% of the time that I am on this game I am either waiting for a match, or in a game feeling like I’m being trolled by my teammate. To top it all off 343 is telling me that in addition to buying this game at a whopping $60, I also have to pay $5 for each additional hero. So now its time I get to the point. Everyone that has this game and even some that don’t, know that it isn’t particularly doing well. If that is the case then why is 343 trying to make money for every little thing with this game. It is virtually dead and I don’t even know if its been out for a year yet. I feel like now a days I am being punished for purchasing games so close to release. On top of that I just dread playing this game because I can’t ever enjoy it and I know it has potential. I just wish there was something that could be done… Sorry for the rant, just felt like I needed to share how I feel about this game.

I agreed. You’re right in most of your points. As I said in another post, the 343i chief of the HW2 development is guiding this game to a totally wrong way and may kill it soon if they persist doing this. There’s no marketing to achieve population in the PC version, their updates are very bad designed and don’t focus in what it should. I don’t know exactly how they’re working there but I assume that they’re doing it totally wrong. I’m not speaking as a player, but as a professional. I’m a metallurgic engineer and I work mainly in the production. I know what I’m saying and I see HW2 as a enterprise that needs profit to keep itself alive, but their products are focusing the wrong way. Probably their development chief came from a differen.t game type and definitely doesn’t know what he’s doing. This thing of releasing new leaders and asking for balance it’s a pur.e joke. These posts coming from moderators or developers spokesman saying that they’re working on more balancing and new stuff for the gameis another joke and just doesn’t convince me. They are working wrong and making nonsense updates with unnecessary DLCs do make the game alive. I’ve posted in the topic made by one of the moderators saying how to help this game to keep it alive but I don’t know If they read it. I hope so.

I play this game just because I really enjoy it. But the way the owners of it deal with their ‘product’ it’s ridiculous and just show how they’re amateurs in what they’re doing. Very well developed, but badly maintained. Some people have a low ‘cooldown’. Nobody is going to wait til forever til this game get good. I compare this company and this game as Microsoft and Windows Phone, respectively. Do a little research and see how Microsoft took their mobile área to a.n end. 343I is doing the same thing to HW2.
