Im confused, what does Ghandi hopping mean?

Yeah, we all know the famous Ghandi but i for one has no clue what Ghandi hopping is. I hear the term alot in HCS but im stumped.

He jumped around a lot i guess. Hell of a guy.

Its when you spam crouch when you jump in a fight. it makes the hitbox for your head bounce up and down and harder to hit. as you mentioned, gandhi pioneered it during halo 2 back in the mlg days.

That’s so weird I’ve recently started ghandi hoping cause I got in the habit of crouching every time I jump.

I was managing to straif some crazy situations. I was thinking this is so cool I wonder if this could be a thing. I had heard of ghandi hopping but I thought it was just jumping up and down.
