I'm banned from using forge and theatre why?

I’ve been banned from using theatre and forge. It says that my console doesn’t have permission, to use use user generated content. I have done nothing wrong as well as anyone else having this problem my gamertag is Jammy8996. This is really annoying because there is no notification when I will have access back to forge or theatre as I am missing out on making the most of my file share, as I want to make a map for halo 4 when it releases will the ban expire by then and if anyone knows how I can get in contact with 343 to remove this ban which was unfairly given without reason.

Might be something to do with Parental Controls on your Xbox Live account…?

No I have checked that I was able to use user created content before but after the transition from Bungie to 343 happened I haven’t had access to any form of user created content. Does anyone know how to get into contact with 343.

343 doesn’t have a public email or telephone number that they use to help customers.

That’s Microsoft’s job, the most you can do here is PM BS Angel and even then your chances for an answer to your problem is slim. Sounds to me it’s more of a console issue than a ban.

There’s never been a history of Forge and theater bans.

Thanks for the reply man it just seems weird I know they issue bans for file shares but its frustrating not being able to use theatre anymore thanks.

It is to do with your accounts privacy settings.

https://live.xbox.com/en-GB/Account/Settings

Go to that link and login with your Xbox LIVE Account.

Scroll down until you see ‘Member Content’.

Change it from whatever it is to ‘Everyone’.

Hit Save.

It may take a while to take effect, but in an hour or two, you will be able to play Forge & Theatre.
