I'm Back

So a clanmate from Destiny 2 got into the flight test a while back and it got me to come back here for the first time since…343 first split the Halo fourms away from Bungie. Signed up for the flight test if there’s any before the actual launch. Will play the f2p part when it comes out regardless.

Glad to see things haven’t changed on the Halo fourms though. Y’all are as awful as I remember.~<3
(Bungie[dot]net’s fourms haven’t improved either, so it’s not that.)

Does Halo Infinite have teammate mute on by default like Destiny*? Or is it at least an option? I have uninstalled several FPSes because I had to hear people. Can’t wait to not be called gay, (but a worse pejorative,) by 14 year old Brits, (something that happened SEVERAL times in Halo 3 before Parties became a thing. Always with a heavy British accent too.)

So yeah, excited to shoot you all, (or shoot with you all if I don’t have to hear you,) soon.

*This is the main reason I can play it’s PvP at ALL and why I’m still playing the game. randos are bad enough with the shooting and dancing.

Nobody cares.

Stick with Destiny.

Don’t listen to this fool above me welcome back to Halo! If you go into the settings menus and check the Audio tab you will see there is checkboxes to mute your team so you can only hear your friends and teammates. This does bug sometimes and I have to re check the boxes as I often times hear people literally eating their mics. You can have your mic set to open or push to talk also, or if you want mute it all together and just use Discord.

Sounds like you should just set your communications preferences at the Xbox settings level, and not the game level. You can disable in game voice communication for all games, and then you’d just have to party with your friends for comms.
