Keep randomly attacking community members because in your very small world you somehow think that will make Halo better then I guess.
You are the problem, your entire attitude is the problem. Maybe as an adult with a job and other interests and hobbies I have bigger things to do then post on a Halo forum attacking other community members because I’m unhappy with the last Halo games quality.
You don’t even know my opinions or even my history of sharing feedback and you’re telling me that I’m the reason Halo is bad. You must live in a very small world sir, one without much self awareness and where you don’t look much in the mirror.
That or you’re very young and haven’t learned that yet, which I suspect is the case.
I wish you had to take a basic test in order to use the Internet sometimes it would solve a lot of problems and weed out people like you.
I remember being a turd to people when I was young on the COD forums. We have a strong influx of young players with the Free to Play model and the marketing toward younger people.
Young people do live in a smaller world and have less perspective. My question is do we deal with it in any way or is the best method to ignore it?
suppose compassion is the answer and to understand that those people don’t necessarily even understand what they’re doing, but man it’s so hard to be compassionate sometimes.
All we can do is hope that one day these people grow up a little and self reflect.
They came out and said this morning that they won’t have campaign mission selection in the final build dropping tomorrow. God forbid you miss a skull or some other collectible in the campaign cause you’ve got to restart the entire thing to collect it.
They literally had years of feed back and information they could pull from through MCC… If they spent 6 years ignoring the information supplied and still provided this then it is clearly malicious and greed… And honestly get what the community is providing as criticism. If you worked 6 years on a project for your job and ignored statistics to make a successful product and provided a sub-par bare bones pile you would be fired…
You must love the taste of boot soles. Most of the criticism here is valid; if that’s rustling for you then maybe you’re better off not using the internet.
the players are being compassionate about a game series they’ve stuck with for years to see it torn apart by shady business practices is disenhearting, not trying to argue with you more like add on to what you said.
They changed weapon balance a ton though. They nerfed the AR and Commando and Ravager, mostly so the BR could beat the former two and nobody would even use the latter
I’ve had lots of negative feedback in my career.
I tend to expect it.
I value it regardless of how its delivered.
I dont take it personally.
I dont have to imagine whats its like for them and though its hard much of it is earned.
That all said, you can’t believe that most the community have been unfair. Most have been respectful the vocal minority that behaved poorly is not the community at large.
This project was clearly a tumultuous one and had many issues.
It really is a rough launch considering how it has been marketed there are many ways that things could have been handled better.
I dont think excusing it is any more fair than being disappointed.
But thats just one opinion.
I have been among several game franchise communities. Battletech, MIght & Magic, Deep Rock Galactic, Phasmophobia etc.
Theres toxicity in any of em. But Halo have become so big, on par with Star Trek and Star Wars ( both those are effed up now, congrats! ). So the toxicity will grow on par with how many fans there are, making it noticable.
