I'm amazed at how dumb people are

There’s a lot in this game where you get mad at people for missing the most simplest things. Like not capturing the Stronghold, not protecting the flag or just simply killing the guy thats one shot.

But Today I was playing Warzone Assault and the other team was kicking our butt and in the last minute it was so obvious that they let us capture the base.
And so obvious that in the last minute of the next base they were doing the same. Its like how dumb can my team be that they actually think that their skill level beat the other team that was controlling the base for 5min straight.
So obvious that they were setting us up so they can spawn their vehicles and just wreck us.

Hmmmm that’s actually kinda smart. Thanks for the idea

Everyone with a party does it. I just don’t get why spend 18min just to get the same req points the losing team would get. Or you would have gotten the first 6min

I would change your title. It’s a good way to get your thread locked. I would think someone so smart in game would realize this in the forum . . .

You can still get progress on commendations so that probably why they do it.

Thats mean

Idc I’m sure I’m not gonna care about this in an hr.
and this is the Forum not the game. Different rules

I agree many noobs playing this game most of my teams can’t even kill a boss.

Depends on how it’s registered. Many forum viewers just seem to take one glance at the title and instantly decide.

I remember seeing a thread where someone didn’t like the bright lights in the game, forgot the name medical problem they had, and people began bashing said thread without even reading the post properly.

Why so mad?

I don’t think it’s dumb at all! If you give me even a tiny sliver of a chance to win I’m going to take it! What you’re thread really says is that you just give up when the opposition seems better than you. I’ve actually had this happen before and ended up winning because our team banded together, shared weapons like fuel rods with active camo, snuck into their core room and destroyed the core. Instead of calling other people dumb maybe you should stop giving up so quickly.

In b4 lock

> I’M AMAZED AT HOW DUMB PEOPLE ARE

You know, “easily-amazed” is a euphemism for dumb, right?

Ikr. The smart thing to do would be to just leave the objective alone because the other team is clearly organized and farming for kills.

I’ve had this happen to me too, OP. I JIP’d into a WZA game that, from the start, was clearly one-sided. The opposing team was defending the Spire…well, defending may not be the best word to describe it. They definitely were, but not in the traditional sense. Rather, for them, a good defense was an overwhelming offense lol.

I quickly realized (and later confirmed), that this was a 12-man fireteam my pack of randoms were…um…fighting? I don’t know if ‘fighting’ is the right word either. More like…hmmm, *submitting ourselves to slaughter against*.

Well, I chose to hide (I never quit) and wait it out. I know, perhaps a cowardly thing to do and no benefit to the team…but it beat stepping three feet out of the spawn only to be mowed down by a variety of killing machines. The highest kill on our team at that point was 2, and the opposition’s top player had 34. With only 1 minute to go, they abandoned the Spire, and one player took the bait and capped it…ushering in another 6 minutes of utter destruction.

Still hiding behind my teeny, tiny rock, amazed that I hadn’t been discovered yet, I listened as Banshees and Phaetons filled the air, and warthogs and wraiths scoured the ground.

It. Was. A. Massacre. By the end of it, our top player had 3 kills, while the enemy team’s best had 76. Second place had 47 kills, and third place had 35. The rest were about in the high 20’s. An entire team’s worth of blue players had dropped out of that game, and no one that ventured out (which was everyone but me for some reason) ever even got close to the Armory.

I agree you shouldn’t give up when you’re up against a team that’s somewhat superior to your own, or even super good. But when it’s painfully obvious that no amount of effort from your team is going to turn the tide (because there’s not really even a tide to turn), for the love of god, save everyone on your team the torture and don’t cap the suddenly empty Spire/Garage/Fortress. You didn’t instantly become a Champion player and outplay the other team…you simply fell for their trap, and played right into their hands.

Whew, that was a crazy game. I was genuinely terrified I would be discovered and thrown into that meatgrinder with everyone else. O.O

76 kills in a Wzone assault?!

To be fair bosses are tricky to kill unless you know how to deal with them.

Been through that already. Its hard to get the word out to the players especially when your mic is broken.

I had a post about this on reddit the other day. It’s incredibly frustrating to deal with and there aren’t many good hiding spots on Urban :frowning:
