What exactly is metastability? I know Medicant Bias reached this stage but I want to know more about it.
So can someone please explain to me what it is?
It’s the 4th stage of rampancy where an AI essentially becomes a stable entity. However, this is pretty much theory (in the Halo Universe). An AI in metastability has “overcome” the problems with rampancy, and is its own being without a specific lifespan (ie 7 years).
They don’t die after 7 years they are terminated after 7 years because they start to change after such. This is brought up in Contact harvest and the recent Demo along with Cole protocol.
