I love this game! I have to say It because I don’t believe they get the thanks they deserve. 343 has produced the best halo since halo 2 in my opinion and even rivals it in its greatness. (No small feat) . I believe this because I played for over 6 hours yesterday without getting bored, something that never happened in reach or h3. And that’s even without ranks!
Which is something else I would like to say, thank you so much for listening 343 and putting in ranks next year. You have been a great and responsive company and I look forward to many more years of buying your games!!
I feel the same way. It only gets better from here! Unlike Bungie, 343 is doing Weekly playlist updates which is wonderful! And once Ranked gets added in and we start having some real decent playlists and maps its only gonna be better
It seems to me that most of the competitive players are happy with MLG customs and the Slayer Pro playlist (though it needs a few tweaks), but the less intelligent players are ranting about how bad this game is.
The opposite of what happened with Reach, essentially.
Haha yeah it seems as though the hardcore players were complaining before the game about ranks and such(myself) and the less competitive players were telling us to shutup and stop complaining. Now when I get on these forums I see a lot of complaining from their side of the community. (Don’t flame me for this, it’s just my first impression) but anyways I think all will be well, and if not 343 will fix it:)

It can only get better from here. The core elements are soooooooooo awesome. I can’t wait to see where things go from here.
There are lots of core aspects that make this game pretty uncompetitive.
I was hopeful when I watched MLG Dallas however now that I’ve played the game and experienced how easy it is to aim with the BR/DMR and the ridiculous amount of aim assist on the sniper rifle I think its seriously lacking in skill.
Strafing is also very slow, sprinting is not competitive at all either. It is more skillful to be able to move quickly in all directions while shooting than either move like a tortoise in every direction or straight forward while sprinting unable to shoot.
The maps are not very good either.

there is so many reasons why this game sucks … lets hope when they put ranks this game will still be alive
I’m loving the game but some things do need to be changed.
Thruster needs a buff.
Pro vision need to be removed.
Active Camo need to run out quicker.
Then we have a perfect game.
