I’ve worked pretty hard to get where I am. Rarely opening a Firefight Matchmaking game, only to top off the rest of the level. Yes, my rank has mostly been gained from Multiplayer, team slayer to be exact… Yet… I feel like I’m slipping. My score is above negative and I feel my old hands beginning to become sore, do you think Colonel is good place to stop, or should I let my arthritis subside and keep busting noggins until I get better and better?

If you think and believe you’re good, and feel good about what you’ve accomplished, then take a well deserved rest, it isn’t going anywhere, and will most definitely be there when you come back to it.

yeah man i am almost brigader and i was just trying to knock it out here and i noticed my game is slipping so i have taken a brake and I am currently playing MW2 clan matches with my cousin again, Batman Gothim City Impostors (Great Game really worth the money) and I have gotten addicted to Forza 4 and the Le Mans Races.

Nope. Ranks are so pointless in Reach so it’s really not much of an accomplishment. Getting to Inheritor means you’re a no life now…

Rest up. You can’t play without hands unless you are a master of telekinesis and/or play with your feet.
Trust me, you have MANY ranks to go through, colonel is just the tip of the ice berg in comparison of the millions of creds you have to earn to get past Nova and so on. 
It’s a -Yoinking!- grind,not worth over playing for.
Then again, the rank isn’t skill based so it’s really pointless…even more so once you become a Noble and up. Nothing to unlock except the Haunted Helm but that’s not until Inheritor.

That helmet looks limited anyway, I’m satisfied with Master Chiefs second helm, just waiting to buy it. :3

Anywho, I play a bunch but lately, I’ve taken to goofing off while playing. It’s more fun, yields more giggles, and keeps us wanting to keep playing. I’m almost a Reclaimer (I have no life, I fully admit this) but I don’t even really care about that. Hell, last night we spent over 2 hours in 4 person co-op campaign driving forklifts around. Just because.
Totally the best way to play Halo.

Im an eclipse and rank means nothing. Play the game how you want to. It’s your decision on when to stop.
Rank in Reach does not tell you how skilled a player is, only their service record does that
Rank has nothing to do with skill. I feel like I’ve gotten to the rank I have by just catching a bunch of lucky breaks and looking for certain challenges.
