Weapons spawn via random drop pods. Therefore Forge won’t be in Halo 4 because you could block the sky. Just like how every COD map is forced to have some place where the sky is open.
-
Also instant respawning, in progress match joins, weapon drop pods, and forerunner vision would all overload the map and cause tremendous lag if its a forge map.

No map will take place inside a Dyson Sphere, because there isn’t a way to have pods drop. And there are no campaign maps in multiplayer.
I thought Forge was confirmed awhile back if I remember correctly.
From the Bulletin a few weeks ago:
“We will discuss the future of Forge later this year. It will not be sad news.”
> I thought Forge was confirmed awhile back.
But it was cut to add in better content.
Forged was already confirmed. They don’t have to literally drop in a pod for every occasion. (I still don’t like the weapon drop system)
I don’t think they literally mean that power weapons drop in pods. I think they just call it a weapon drop.

This
Umm… didn’t Frankie say that parts of the GI were incorrect, such as drop pods?
Or we will be able to edit were weapons get “dropped”?

Shut’cho your mouth brotha. We don’t always have to be negative nancy
how about the map confirmed that is in space?
I read NOTHING you said, that had ANY relevance to Forge.
We have custom options for a reason. That’s like saying there’s Forge because weapons on Hemmorhage spawn on the grass, so therefore you can make a sky map.

Why yall gotta be hatin on me!?!
I am almost 100% certain that random weapon drops can be turned off.

Just… Just stop…

Since its in space the drop pods can fly in the shield doors horizontally.
This doesn’t confirm anything.

That’s not going to happen. There’s literally no sense in that. They aren’t going to remove one of the most important parts of the game for one minor detail.

> Did they say drop pods specifically? Maybe we can place the location of where they fall as a waypoint. Or maybe it’s like Invasion Slayer drops.
