I’ve been around since halo CE, loved em all, I loved em all, every MP i’ve loved, every story i’ve loved,
to those saying that the MP will fail, i don’t care, so what it may it may not, BUT you all say halo 4’s did but it still had a sufficient amount of people for me to find matches and along as i can do that in halo 5, I don’t care if you hate it and don’t buy it because there will be people playing. And I’m going to be one of them.
A halo fan wouldn’t abandon the game, period.
I can be a halo fan and leave to play other games that are more fun if halo 5 fails. I played halo 4, loved the story. Halo 4 for me was like this, the ship was sinking so I gladly abandoned ship, of course Im still part of the army or fleet but the logical thing to do was to get off that ship. If you dont like a game in the series and leave that game you can still be a fan.
Anybody who enjoys playing the entire game, loves it, has to be a fan. About 6 months ago I finished the Halo: Reach Campaign on Legendary (Alone), was one of the biggest accomplishments in my history of Halo. I, it took me 2 hours to finish it. I’m happy now. I started playing Halo when I was 7 years old.
I hope we keep playing halo for years

If you’re willing to force yourself to play a game that you think is utterly terrible, you aren’t being a fan. You’re just being blindly devoted and irrational.
Unless we want to interpret “fan” as “fanatic”, in which case carry on.
Being a true fan doesn’t mean you stick to their games and play them all no matter what. What if Halo 5 kills master chief off and the remainder of the series you play as an ODST who follows Locke around as his -Yoink- and acts as a decoy for the whole game. You still going to stay true to Halo? If a dev does something people don’t like their Fans will speak out and say “We don’t like this, remove it please.” That’s what makes them a fan. Voicing their opinion and letting the dev know that the vast majority of their fan base doesn’t like something and if they want to keep their fans happy then something needs to be done about it. Sitting there and shoving whatever they throw at you down your throat even though you don’t like something doesn’t make you a fan. Makes you a helpless lamb sorry to say.
