I think a lot about this game is lame, so many things need tweaks BUT I ventured over to the MLG/Gamebattle forum and have been playing MLG customs for the last 3 days and honestly its been super fun. I feel like its Halo 2 again, playing with skilled players on maps that are well designed (simplex and dispatch being the forges) and really just overall enjoying myself. I wish I had been spending my time playing custom games with the truly competitive players rather than wasting my time in matchmaking. Bottom line though, this game isn’t a waste and is worth playing, you just need to find what is “fun” for you, be it custom games, spartan ops or dominion MM, try to do what you enjoy. I’ve been ranting as much as anyone over the past few weeks but I honestly haven’t enjoyed halo this much since halo 2.
I know, custom games are a big part in Halo an not alot of people have been playing customs in Halo4. I notice most of the people that dislike H4 have not played custom games.
I was playing on a Pit remake and it was just like old times.
Just to help those that may not know, I filshare searched by gamertag for “gamebattle” and was able to get the MLG maps and variant game types, although I was already playing with kids who had them. I won’t even play MM unless its 2v2, whenever it is they release it or else a pro/mlg playlist. Won’t even be mad if nothing else with this game changes, I’m loving custom games as much as I ever have right about now.
I used to get pissed at this game until I started to just have fun. I hsve made it my personal challenge to drive the warthog and get my passenger at least 5 kills.
Lmao. Some of these kids just suck but watching sucky people actually get a kill is hilarious. But I know what you mean. I’m somewhat competitive but not enough to join the tryhards over there.

Halo 4 is amazing and the BEST multiplayer for ANY Halo game.
