I'll buy Halo 5 if...

Simple question ~ What’s on your list of must haves. Or, are you sold already. Here is my list. Short and simple. I can not justify another purchase from 343i before these are confirmed. In part, it’s because I don’t want to buy another Halo game to play alone. My friends list has already cleared out of the beta. :frowning:

~Fix MCC

~Classic CTF (NO FLAG CARRIER WAY POINTS~NO FLAGNIUM)

~Pistol/AR playlists (better MM playlists options in general)

~Robust custom game options (disable thruster, sprint, etc…)

Edit: ~ I need to know that the party system and other BASICS are functional.

I’ll buy it regardless. I’d pay $60 for a Halo Campaign. Back when I didn’t have XBL thats what I did for Halo 3.

Yeah. I hear ya there. I can’t wait(a day or two) and buy used for that though.

Im already sold

  • BR starts on all competitive/ranked and objective playlists
  • Classic CTF flag running returns and no flag carrier waypoints when stealth running
  • Ability to disable Spartan Abilities individually in custom games
  • Ability to toggle AI chatter and power weapon spawn reminders
  • SWAT and Team Snipers playlists at launch
  • Working party matchmaking (I’m looking at you, MCC)

Region select.

I was sold before the beta on the campaign, and the beta sold me on the multiplayer. Yes, I will buy it for sure.

I will buy it but not be pre-ordering.

Just running around some Halo 4 maps gets me amped for the campaign. When 343i lets some of the ambient noise cut through they really nail atmosphere.

Thats about it really. Nail those and we’re good.

Already preordered limited edition

Assault would be nice as well. Still can’t believe Halo 4 shipped with Griff Ball and not Assault.

I’ve already decided to buy H5, despite all of the glaring flaws. Though it will be a cheap used copy, so they don’t get my money.

I want them to just make a fun game, and make it so that it lasts a good amount of time like Halo 3 was able to do. I will buy the game regardless, but in terms of multiplayer I will be happy if the do these things:

  1. Get rid of the Spartan Ground pound, it is useless and doesn’t let me crouch jump.
  2. Do something with sprint to make it feel more like Halo, I was watching a video today about how halo has always had a balance of shooting and moving, but sprint means you cannot shoot and move, especially if you want to catch up to the other players. I can see them dropping sprint and keeping thrusters, because they are a once per firefight type thing, so it is very balanced like that.
  3. Take away bullet magnetism because it is pretty ridiculous, and bring back aim assist instead.

Yeah, that’s something that I thought they did really really well with Halo 4.

MCC is fixed.
Map design is fixed (which will probably require nothing short of removing sprint from the game).
Current Balance isn’t ruined by release.

I’m not holding my breath. I’ll probably just buy this used.

MCC fixed? Getting a party together is still a pain. Legacy controls DO NOT WORK for H2A(that’s just incompetence). Game crashes persist. I don’t want this to be about MCC, but it is hardly fixed.

Only gonna redbox for campaign, I’ll prob but it if they remove sprint. There are so many thing I’ve started to dislike the more I play, but I could live with most of it if they at least took out sprint. That’s it though. I’ll just stick with the MCC, why buy a game I don’t want, and why support a developer who isn’t making the game I want.

I may need to stick with MCC as well. Also kind of banking on a H3 anniversary. I hope 343i/Certain infinity/MS don’t -Yoink- the bed on it. No collection. A FULL remake.

Yeah, honestly, I would have paid $60 for just the H2A campaign and multiplayer and been satisfied for another 5 years. Also, don’t expect a H3A, it’d take too much away from THEIR Halo games, and would therefore be bad for business having a FULLY remastered game people could play instead of their versions of Halo.
