Honestly, this makes me feel like they really aren’t listening. Like, maybe they heard that people were upset at challenges, but they didn’t listen to specifics at all. Because playlist specific challenges were actually something I heard a lot of people complain about. In particular, I heard people complain about having ranked challenges. Doing this feels like they’ve made the problem worse, not better, and they would have known that if they actually listened to what people were saying.
If you read what they are saying, they have three ranked challenges. They kind of can’t do other challenges.
You missed the point completely.
This is more than just me not wanting to play ranked.
I paid for the battle pass and want to progress.
I enjoy challenges.
I do not enjoy being forced to play things I don’t like.
You can no longer swap ranked challenges for anything but other ranked challenges. 343 have shadow updated the game so you can’t.

Kind of makes the challenge swaps they seem to want to sell and promote kind of useless. Get five challenge swaps for some meals at Chipotles! What can you use those challenges swaps for? To get practically the same challenge! Hooray!

Weekly rewards will probably always require a ranked match. Guess that means it’s just not for you sadly, sucks = /
Not the end of the world thankfully… But maybe they’ll have other ways to get these things possibly in the future?
They haven’t required one until now. So naturally not everyone is happy with this change. Some people see it as a downgrade to the previous system. And I don’t know why 343 thought it was a good idea. I didn’t see a single person complaining that there weren’t enough playlist specific challenges. Did you? I did see people complaining about playlist specific challenges though, so it’s not surprising this change isn’t well received.
