The best way to get rid of hate and annoying threads is to ignore them. Don’t post on them, don’t click on them. Starve these posts out, if you reply to them then all they do is take up space. Let these posts die. Let them drop of the lists of threads.
Then let this post die when they are gone.

who knows? all I know is that we can’t beat them by posting in them otherwise they just move to the top of the forum list again and again! Just ignore them. Once they are gone let this one die too.

Whining / complaining is discussing our disappointment. Granted it could be done in a better manner. It has been before, and the threads die out because nobody argues or there is too much truth to argue.

Saying “Halo 4 is going to suck because of X, Y and Z!!!” sounds more childish than discussing it like “I don’t know why 343i would add X, it would interrupt the flow of the game because… I don’t think adding Y will be a good decision because… Z might not be a good choice because of…”

What I’m confused about is that you wish to incite whining and complaining. I don’t mind people expressing their discomfort for the game, but I do believe allowing childish behavior such as whining is not the right choice.

So you’re saying you’d rather have 10 threads filled with people more or less bickering with one another and complaining how the game will suck -Yoink- than a few threads that would promote discussion?
Those threads get buried because of so many whiner threads saying how the game will suck.

if you say what you hate in the new game and why that’s fine; so long as you do it in a mature manor. That way people can discuss your idea and respond accordingly. Throwing an online tantrum and shouting swear words is not- that is hate.

right and the best thing you can do to stop it is don’t try and show them the ‘error of their ways’ just don’t respond to their post and let it disappear.
here’s an idea, since you nominate this thread to be the one, contact a mod, ask them to sticky this, all hate goes into the sticky thread, then we police and report all others that spring up. How does it sound guys and gals?
