Just wanted everyone to know IGN’s Halo 4 Review will be up.late tomorrow night at 12:01 am Pacific/3:01 am Eastern. I sometimes am not a fan of IGN but the fact that the review is coming out that early to be is a good sign.

Cool. Thanks for letting me know. I personally don’t mind IGN that much. It’s Gamespot that I’ve been fuming at since they gave the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword a 7/10 calling it dull and boring when it deserved its 10/10 from all other websites like IGN.

Ign’s reviews are biased. I’d rather wait for some independent reviewers to look it over.
The game review you can always trust the most is your own.

If you think Skyward Sword deserved a 10, and it matters enough to you to claim that it does deserve a 10, then the game earned a 10. Just because you’re not a website doesn’t mean your opinion doesn’t matter.
Plus, Groose is a friggin’ BALLER.
As for the review, I’m all for seeing what an official source has to say, for better or worse, but what matters is what THE PEOPLE think of the game.
I’m a people.

That’s just the equivalent of shouting “FIRST!!!” on every article, thread of youtube video. I usually stick to the reviewers that think like me and I can trust.

Besides, I’d rather a reviewer take their time to fully experience the whole game at their own pace. Rather then putting on the easiest settings and rushing through the game as fast as you can to make a deadline.
Gabe from Penny-Arcade tried that once. Gave himself a deadline to play videogames and he ended up hating the games he previously loved playing.
I don’t keep up with those reviewers anymore. Is it IGN that drastically loves CoD over any other game. If so, then no thanks.

I gave up on game reviews years ago. They’re (mostly) completely useless to me because I’ve enjoyed plenty of games that have been given a low score and hated some games that have been given a high score. The ratings never match up to my own opinions.

Excellent. Let’s see how many Halo 4 Limited Edition 360s IGN received.
If you look at the actual content of IGN reviews, most of them are informative. If anything they are a bit nit-picky. I usually enjoy reading their reviews and have rarely read one and had a completely opposite feeling about the game when I played it.
OT: I can’t wait to see the first reviews. I just like reading reviews about games I know are going to be spectacular. Halo 4 campaign looks absolutely amazing and multiplayer… well it doesn’t look worse than Reach lol. Yes CTF may of been raped and there is no Assault but I have faith the actual gameplay/maps will be better than Reach.

I think the Zelda game deserved a 6/10.
Don’t know if I’m going to watch the review. I might check out the score and listen too it instead.
