IGN is the company that came up with the 7.8/10 — Too much water.

Wouldn’t take their reviews too seriously, even then, it is a great mark for a videogame.

I seriously hope people don’t consider this a bad score. It seems like unless it’s a 9.5 or a 10 the game is automatically mediocre.

With that said, I think the score is fair.

A lot of places gave halo 5 a high review. but nearly all of them praise MP and shun the campaign all repeating basically the same thing. I’ve learned to not trust review sites. I form my own opinion based off of my own experiences and trusted friends.

I’m only on mission 3 Legendary and a few warzone matches, but i really like it so far. Spartans feel lke super soldiers now, not just big lumbering tanks. Feels like halo, looks like halo. It will deserve a 9 if 343 actively support it with lots of content and lots of people are still playing after 6 months.

I think that’s a reasonable score
