Well it’s interesting…
Except for the part where they go on about the Covenant. Did they play Halo 3? The Covenant has disbanded / been destroyed.
>>In a side note, if 343i have found a way to bring back the Covenant to Halo 4 for some stupid reason, I will be really annoyed.
I still think those ‘Pelicans’ look like fish…
The editors and wrighters on sites like IGN aren’t ever knowledgeable about games because they are just guys with jobs, not really gamers who care about the intricacies of plot, or competitiveness of multiplayer.
It is VERY VERY rare you will find one give a game justice in their review/descriptions of games. And if you ever happen on them in multiplayer, they will always suck at everything.
I saw this earlier and really enjoyed it. They pointed out a few things I had missed and have some interesting theories.I hope they are wrong about the Covenant though.
Would you please excuse me while i slit my wrists…
THEY ARE COMPLETE IDIOTS!
ok…
Those ships toward the end ARE NOT COVENANT, They are obviously Forerunner or Precursor Tech…
Those ships flying by in the beggining WE HAVE SEEN BEFORE! They are forerunner dreadgnouts, as seen at the end of H2
Those ARE NOT MARINES toward the end as well, its most likley Chief and 2 unknown characters, Some even say Chakas and Riser idk but Marines would be scared Sh*tless and run away
Ok… Just because you see Pelicans for 5 seconds in Art dosent mean you immediatley say that UNSC are in H4… There is many more explanations for that probally…
And finally just to say… Everyone like them and some others asume the Covenant and UNSC will be in H4, now its obviously unknown right now, but I can tell they wont be, and even if they were, it would be a slight part if any in H4…
Seriously… We just got done playing and experiencing Covenant and UNSC the past 10 years (dont get me wrong, i like the UNSC and Covie). Im pretty sure they wont make a role at all (or a slight small role) in H4…
They don’t look covenant and they failed to mention that it was also the cover for halo cryptum.
Did anyone think that they made some improvements on their knowledge?
I suspect they were referring to the Sangheili when they said “Covenant”.
> I suspect they were referring to the Sangheili when they said “Covenant”.
Yeah, still its not any form of elite, covenant, UNSC, etc…
People just dont look ahead these days they always asume its something that they already know of
> I suspect they were referring to the Sangheili when they said “Covenant”.
I think so as well. We may just be seeing some more Sangheilis as friendlies rather than enemies, of course. The cover of Grasslands is leading me to believe that the Sangheilis will continue to play a small part of the storyline. I can’t speak about the rest of the ex-covenant though (hunters, brutes, grunts, skirmishers, jackals, and those buggers). It would be genius if the ex-covenant races were somehow implimented, but without leadership.
IGN fails.
