Those are some really awesome assassinations. But one thing caught my eye; the flag carrier was using a pistol in his right hand while carrying the flag.

I don’t think its that big a deal. Its not like he’s holding a rocket. Its a 6-shot pistol, you’re outgunned in almost every situation.

discussed a while ago, but ok.
i think it’s pretty neat. at least the flag carrier will now have some means of defense, even though it may not amount to much. At least you’ll avoid those awkward moments when you come up against the enemy and you just hold the flag in your hand, hoping they do nothing to you and you just sort of look at them, walking by.
besides, spartans are strong men and women. holding a firearm along with a mere flag is long overdue, imo.

Its a pistol, what do you expect?
A finising weapon, strip the shields with the primary and finish them with the pistol if you run out of ammo or need some quixk shots.
The flag carrier will still rely on his team to do the job, he can’t defend himself much against others with BRs, DMRs, etc.

Actually the pistol was in his right 
Yeah, it’s been mentioned before. This probably means that we can use side arms while holding the Flag. Hopefully not other weapons, though.

nop in the skull assasination you only have the skull in both hands maybe this gonna be changed

Not that I’m aware of… 
I would prefer it if it were an SMG.
Other than that, it seems like a good idea.
Im fine with it. The pistol looks like it will lose every fight anyway.

I could take a few with a pistol!
And of course, this only works if you have a magnum/Plasma pistol with you at the time. if you don’t have one on you, I’m sure you can’t just pull one out of you bum.
So to all of those planning on using the firepower tactical package, I wouldn’t reccomend you as the designated flag carrier.
