i wish you would make a new model for the anniversary shotgun instead of bringing over the reach model.

A lot of people agree, but CEA went gold several days ago. They can’t change anything now except through a TU, unless they included a system for simple model patches, which I doubt.
Why? The Reach shotgun is the best looking model.
> Why? The Reach shotgun is the best looking model.
Thats not the point, the point is the reach shotgun is different from the shotgun in halo 1. If they look EXACTLY the same then theres no point to the remake if youre not going to remake the weapons.
Halo 1- M90 caws
Reach- M45 Shotgun
It’s nothing that brings too much concern to me. It’s just gameplay and both shotguns function identically.
Besides, maybe they’ll explain why they look the same in the Analyze mode.

Yeah, for the 2% of the Halo Community that bothered to buy Kinect.
Considering that they are different models, it would have been nice to have a redone M90 rather than Reach’s M45. Although I believe a 343 employee said that there will be an explanation for that.
Big deal lol.
> Big deal lol.
To me it is.
I dont see the big deal with having a different looking shotgun. As long as it works the same as in CE its fine by me

What does going gold mean it’s finalized?(Not familiar with this term)

Well the remake, as well as releasing it for the minor fans, 343i were paying close attention to those who are major canon fans about even the minor details such as Models.
It makes no sense having one Shotgun model in Classic then a totally different one in HD.

Pretty much. It’s off to the factories for mass production.
Well then what about the needler and plasma pistol? They also use the Reach models.
> Well then what about the needler and plasma pistol? They also use the Reach models.
the needler and plasma pistol technically are canon because the fleet that attacked reach followed the PoA, so it makes sense why the reach pp and needler would be in the game.
I agree. The Halo Reach shotgun is my least favorite of the models, and I had been hoping it was just a placeholder. Guess not
> Well then what about the needler and plasma pistol? They also use the Reach models.
Because those are pure aesthetic changes throughout the series. For the covenant weapons, they call them the same type weapon without any real different models. Specifically that the Plasma pistol in Halo CE is the same used throughout the rest of series. Human weapons are different though. They give each weapon a different name throughout the series as the cosmetics change.
Halo CE: M90
Halo 2: M90 Mk. II
Halo 3: M90A
Halo Reach: M45 TS (so its not even the same brand)
gameplay wise it doesnt matter but in the universe of halo canon it does. The M45 was used by the army branch of UNSC and on reach. But the pillar of autumn was MEANT to be stocked with M90’s used by the marine branch. And in the then & now video they call BOTH models the M45. That is was aggravates me. Though then again it’s not just the shotgun. Archedthunder brought attention before that the other weapons are also incorrectly using the reach models and that only the AR and Pistol were remade. lol, favoritism.

I understand, but they are the same gun. They just look different. Both fire the same, do the same damage and everything.
but its the M45 model
