What would make you break your streak of $0 spent?
For me it would be the inclusion of a PvE mode of any kind, preferably a survival mode with some sort of customs no-rewards mode as well as a matchmaking mode that uses the REQ system.
Simple as that, they are ruining gaming, and they won’t get a cent from the through them. -Yoink-, even Guitar Hero has microtransactions now, what is wrong with the gaming industry?
The thing is, if i paid for the req packs, then i would have nothing to work towards when spending my req points, Im just after the permanent items. Most of them suck, but its just a completion thing. I feel if i just buy packs i am just cheating myself by not ‘earning’ the points. There needs to be more unlocks for things. I love the commendations and that after completing them you get something, although its a emblem all the time.
I would never spend cash on any req pack. I dont care for different colored weapons, emblems are just emblems, and you can’t see your own armor in a first person game. In the words of Ice-T/Body Count: “I just wanna kill some mother****ers on Xbox!” I don’t care about what my dude looks like while doing it.

Didn’t guitar hero always have micro transactions? Like buying additional songs or something?
It sucks, but this is how the gaming companies are making their money. Its not enough to create a great game, sell it for $60 and then support it for the next 2+ years. If they can release little bits of armor of custom colors that have no real effect on the game for extra money, then it seems like a no brainer. Thankfully people keep buying it. I would prefer that instead of Season Passes where if you want to carry on playing the game you need to drop another $30. Especially when you know its all pre planned and they purposely leave content out to release it at a price later down the line.

Microtransactions for playing the good songs more than three times a day; it is not like paying for songs and own them together…
You seriously think 60$ isn’t profitable? Holy hell, man… just… make the numbers. Look at The Witcher 3 and its free 16 DLC packages.
The ability to pay for baseline content when we have a game that already lacks baseline content that was standardized almost a decade ago should not be an option at all. 343 is playing to the fanbase’s weaknesses rather than making complete games. That’s not cool.
The only thing I would pay for is the ability to unlock specific armor that I wanted and I would pay for the ability to change each piece of my armor individually example: helmet, shoulders, gauntlets, chest, legs etc.
