I don’t know what others think but I do slightly agree with Sean W’s thoughts in his YouTube video. I just don’t want them to wait until after E3 or ruin E3 completely for me/everyone, by saying Halo Infinite is getting delayed again. I myself believe they are not fully finished getting everything right. 1. Because of the tiny amount of things shown over the past few months and the way they are answering questions. 2. I’m not satisfied by everything I’ve seen so far. Yes it looks better, sure. But not perfect and if you ask me 343 is all in on this, in respects to them delaying the game over a year and satisfying both noble and new fans. They definitely need this to be the best Halo that 343 could possibly develop. Anyone else’s thoughts?
They 100% are not delaying infinite again. Whatever they are doing to improve the game is all we are gonna get. Expecting “perfection” out of a video game is just setting yourself up for a bad experience. Halo infinite is gonna be fun.
I think they’re wrapping the game up n polishing it. If theres issues im sure theyll patch it post release like H5 n MCC
I don’t think it will get delayed. If they have problems, then Micro will bring another dev team to help 343 fix the game in time.
Unless there are game-breaking bugs + the Cyberpunk paranoia, don’t expect a delay.

I don’t really expect perfection, more so a Halo to please people from every area.

That’s kinda what I’m afraid of, is another cyberpunk massacre.

I dont think it’ll be glitchy like Cyberpunk. 343/Microsoft is tryin to claw their way back to good will with fans while CDPR had a lot o reserved good will to burn through. The fact it was delayed by a year after Craig shows they’re willing to iron out major issues.
i cant say for sure if itll be a great game but id be surprised if it launches unplayable like Cyberpunk 2077.

That’s not possible. Choose a lane and stay in it. You can’t please everyone.

It won’t be another cyberpunk, don’t worry. Cyberpunk was literally unplayable, riddled with game-breaking bugs, had enormous expectations, and half of the things they promised during marketing and trailers, were lies.
Worst case scenario? Infinite has bugs (likely) and doesn’t improve that much visually, but it won’t be unplayable and they won’t scam the community during marketing. Furthermore, the campaign will be awesome now that Joseph Staten is back!
I have full confidence in 343i.
I personally don’t mind it getting delayed if the situation really calls for it. However, I really don’t think it will be pushed back.
I get Sean W’s concern, but we also don’t know how far back in development those screenshots were taken. Not to mention 343i pushing back Ask343 is most likely related to crunching for their E3 presentation.
I feel extremely confident knowing that Joseph Staten is in charge.
Sean w’s main concern was the placement of the AI in the screenshot. Like cmon…
Let’s just wait and see how the game looks at e3 before we start making judgements.
I really hope they don’t delay it. There was already a massive Xbox first part drought before the delay. I’m dying for some new halo but keeping my expectations measured. That said I also hope they keep pumping out new Halo 3 maps. Waterfall is super fun although Edge leaves something to be desired.
Delay, no… That’s just
. They said it was content completed months ago. 10 months of polishing is plenty. 343 cannot delay bc the masterchief must save humanity. I have hope it will arrive this year.
Discover hope

Youtubers have a habit of blowing things out of proportion, it’s how they make money. The things he covered were speculation and complete non-issues. We’ve barely seen any of the game in it’s current state so nobody is in a position to slate it and say that it needs delaying a second time.
I wouldn’t mind delaying the game if it’s to get playable elites

You mean just like MCC and H5G?
343I has a huge track record of completely botched releases, don’t expect this to be any different.
That being said, there won’t be another delay, but not because the game is or isn’t broken, but because they can’t afford to do so. 343 needs the money and Microsoft wants some returns on their investment, especially now that they’ve spent an enourmous amount on the Bethesda purchase.
The game will come out this year, by hook or by crook, regardless in what state it is… and at least personally, I’m expecting a gigantic train wreck.
I think the issue was mostly graphically and the mechanics were fine. That has had a year of fixing which is enough time. Nothing will be perfect, but you bet the team is trying their best.

Exactly I think the whole video is click bait lol. N I told him that. Like he was mad about not having a ask 343. N having no update. When 343 said like 4 months ago that some months wouldn’t have update…n it’s obvious it’s a freaking e3 to get ready for.
I generally like Sean W’s stuff but that video really felt like making mountains out of molehills. I mean one of the points he makes is that there’s no movement from the characters…in a screen shot. Another is that the Jackals are facing the same direction and grunts have similar poses. In this shot there’s no one shooting or fighting, it’s just them idle hanging out so there’s no reason they should be leaping into action.
He also opens it by talking about the ask343 schedule being mixed around. The studio is gearing up for E3 and then presumably moving into the final marketing push for launch. It’s completely understandable that the community department would have a lot going on for the next few months. Ask343 is probably a lower priority compared to marketing campaigns, trailer drops, interviews, etc.
There is the point that schrier is doing a story on them but his expose pieces have tended to focus more on company culture and crunch as opposed to inherent problems with the game itself.
It would pain my heart but I would rather they delay it one more year if the game needs it than they release something that can not be properly fixed later.

This is key.
