If you worked for 343, what ONE thing would you change/bring into Halo 4. Think carefully. It could be anything.
I’d bring in the weapon tuning system thingy at the start. Customization is bound to bring some unbalances, whether it be from a development oversight, or unintentional hiccups.
A web based or downloadable program that would allow members of the Halo community to use resources 343i has access to, such as megalo, to create better content for the game. Whether it be through custom gametypes, maps, weapons, features, etc.
Yep, just fixed everything in one move.
This is just me, but I would put every single armour into Halo 4/5. All alterations too. (EVA would be 3, Reach or 4 variant)
Well I’d probably be doing a ton of coding. One does not simply change things by working there.
(Couldn’t resist saying that.)
Anyway, if I could change things, I probably would have changed the story direction to be more based on the Spartans as characters instead of the Bridge crew.
I would simply port Halo 4 to PC, dedicated servers and allow user created contents.
I would have either removed armor abilities all together or removed flinching. Hate both of them.

I’d shut down the forums for a day after each patch release to let the rage die down and let some constructive thoughts form.
I’d also remove ordnance, flinch, and armor abilities and perks. I’d take all those things I removed and put those resources into more armours, helmets, armor effects, etc.
I’d reinforce/reignite Campaign discussion on these forums.
As for the game, I’d revolutionize the AI, even if I have to reduce the graphics.
I would address the lag issues as much as possible.

Add in “Best Connection” user option as in Reach.

Add in “Local Only” filters so people don’t have to be in “The United Nations” of gamers scattered from all around the globe in a single game. We can use IP address for basic location information.

Change the host selection method from the H4 “Host History” back to the way Reach did it. Where it measures each persons connection (Ping time and bandwidth) at the start of a game and then select the best Host.
I would add UNSC air vehicles.
Playable Elites.
Fix the DLC situation. Make permanent dedicated playlists for every map pack, not rotated DLC playlists like we currently have. After a while, make all DLC at least half-off, then eventually make them free and required for other playlists. Screw -Yoink!-'s “DLC with achievements can’t be free” policy.
That or seriously do something about lag and host migrations.
One thing? I’d probably start putting Halo back on PC… or release an official, revamped version of Halo: Custom Edition. Or put the multiplayer from Combat Evolved on XBox Arcade with updated graphics and physics, plus add armor customization…
Oh. Just Halo 4? Fix the undersuit.

If I worked for 343i, I would act as an in-company representative of the Elite community.
I seriously feel like us in the Elite community goes completely ignored by the developers at 343i.
The first big thing I’d change? Elites in Multiplayer obviously. But I would design with the needs of the non-Elite community in mind. Elites would stand with the stature they had in Reach, where their heads are clearly above their shoulders and fully visible from behind. Only they would be scaled down so their height is the same as the Spartans, and they would not have the speed, and shield buffs they had.

You’d remove game mechanics and replace them with cosmetic items? You can’t be serious.
easy, add a VISIBLE challenging ranking system . so people actually have a motive to keep playing this trash!
