Okay I like them.
HA, All you balance pros and traditionalist are gonna choke on what I would have done. Good.
Spoiler.
Cortanna would not have died. There would have been some major fights against some towering Scarabs like enemies. You would have flown the Broad Sword a lot more than the last mission. I would’ve gotten rid of the Crawlers and Watchers and placed in four other support units that would actually be fun to fight against. The Knights would have gone a couple more design rounds than what we have now. The Battle Wagon would’ve been a walking Wraith of an enemy. The Promethean would’ve had living Vehicles you could wrestle into submission. I would have made sure the back story of the Didact was a major PR campaign on XBox Live during all of October to catch everyone up with Halo lore.
Every weapon you knew would be gone except for the Magnum. No more complaining about the DMR or the BR because you’d get a new rifle that would be the best of both worlds, so you can -Yoink- about that. AR would be replaced by the SAW. I would turn the design team loose and let them go hog wild on weapons. You can sort your awesome as you go.
The Shotgun would be boss and you get a twin barrel because I love you Texans, the Rocket Launcher would be more the rocket rifle. The Spartan Laser would get to tap into your AA to be recharged for a second round only. And the range finder would allow you to get your TETSUOOO fix.
Two new UNSC grenade types. Your normal grenade and a Bubble Shield grenade, just like the Halo 3 commercial. Great for protecting you and great for trapping an enemy if you enclose them in one. Buy you some time, but they can still shoot at you so some balance.
Welcome to Forge Planet. Where every map you love is connected to one massive map environment. Have fun wandering it.
Forgers would get their magnets and a Zoom and for gods sake a workable drop pod.
You get to play as an Elite, a Hunter… you… screw it! You get a full on Beast Mode, because you deserve it. Customs up the wazzoo. Flood forms that can carry guns, and the New enemy is yours to ride around in you crazy video directors.
AAs. I like AAs and in my game you’re gonna need them for what running around the battle field. Here’s the thing it’s the armor. So you are easily identified. Like that camo well it’s going to serve you well my friend, you like running so it’s going to work like a boss. But hey the PV guys are hunting you and the Trackers are making life tough.
Hardlight troopers can take a round from the newly designed Scorpions turret, but don’t get too cocky because that monster has a plenty of tricks up it’s sleeve like being connected to it’s driver’s AA. That’s right a Tank that has a jet pack, why? Why not? Because it would be awesome. Also it floats and it’s fast. No more crawling and hoping your infantry are there to protect you. You are god without equal except for the other tank god baring down on you.
That goes for every vehicle and they are not boring and balanced, they are fun, fast, and insane to behold. The Mantis would not be shuffling around like an old man with arthritis. No that mother is running at a full gate with Anti Air gatling guns blaring because the driver has things in the skies to really worry about than you guys on the ground under foot.
You get your 1-50 and your visible skills and then you’d get a classic playlist all for yourselves because I believe in fairness.
There’s a lot more but lets wrap it up.
Firefight would be set to ODST and Arcade playlists. Customization set to insane.
Spartan OPs. I like you but I would release a episode every week and a Mission once a day. Spread it out and make it interesting.
Water vehicles. Yes
Under water Missions. Yes.
Pelican. Yes.
Playing as Elites doing their own counter missions. YES.
Pinning animations from the Ai. Yes. So you better use your mic or a some Alien brute is going to make you it’s girl friend.
Doubles.Yes
So there that what I would do. Because that’s what I want to play and not be bored.
