Just a question if you was in charge of the Halo Franchise what would you do different with halo 5 compaired to the current developers?

Looked into expanding the game in meaningful ways (PC Map Creation, 32v32, more custom game options instead of less, etc).
Researched the market more (handing out surveys to people both in and outside the Halo community to get a gauge on what players actually want these days). It seems like they just kind of assumed people would like Halo 4 based on a quick glance at market trends rather than thorough research of them.
I don’t agree with copying other shooters, but I don’t hold it against 343I because at face value it seems like a pretty smart idea. “Hmm, the market loves CoD, so maybe we can get a slice of that if we make our game more similar”. I doubt many people here would’ve honestly done anything different if they were put in the same position.

I would focus alot on the UI and community I would pull back on the new mechanics maybe add more melee sprint would be gone if fans wanted it then they get jog not sprint. Maybe add a weapon that goes on the shoulder duel wielding would also be back

Reduce the amount of weapons or at least try to reduce redundancy.

I’d get rid of the callouts/weapon spawn countdowns (It’s just annoying, and for me, it makes gameplay less immersive. I don’t care who threw a grenade, or when the sniper rifle is going to spawn or who picked it up.)
Change the announcer’s voice. (Waaay too much emphasis on some things, not enough on others.)
Shield recharge sound. (I mean, come on, it sounds nothing like it’s supposed to. It was fine for 5 other games, why make it different now?)
Get rid of the medals for stupid stuff. (A medal just for getting a kill? This is not not the special olympics, where you get a medal just for participating, This is “war”, and killing is what we’re here for.)
Dedicated SWAT playlists. (Though this will probably happen anyway, I feel the need to add it, because I love me some SWAT. :P)
There’s probably a couple other things I can’t think of right now, or didn’t notice in the beta, since I wasn’t able to play it as much as I wanted to. (I only got to play a few matches when it first started.)
So, basically, make it more like Halo 2/3 and less like Reach/Halo 4/all the other soulless COD clones. Agree with me or don’t, I’m just stating my opinion on the matter.

see I would have to disagree. Compared to what people have said in other places, Halo 5 sprint is great with the shield not being able to regenerate. And there is several ways 343i has been listening to the community. did you not see what they did with halo 4 campaign? we piloted both a pelican and longsword. So I would do absolutely nothing just like FlyingCreeper. What would I need to change?

this and adding grunts in a online mode and make the campaing a little bit better Halo 4 was good in that but not like it was in 3 or others
I would make it halo 3.5 but improve upon it like making forge bigger than any other halo game, longer and open world campaigns, btb 32v32, more vehicles, more armor customization, Civil war in multiplayer instead of simulations, change master chiefs armor back to the mark 6, etc. I would take risks in making this game.

Both of these plus a firefigh/invasion game mode with lots of ai,16v16 or 32v32, and other playable species(not just spartans and elites)
the return of the elephant along with more team based land/air vehicles.

I’m not. AAs (excluding jet pack and armor lock) and loadouts were very well done in Reach. Plus they were entirely optional.
Hmm…that’s a tough one.
Innovation in Halo / New Gameplay Ideas for H5–like I say in the first post, my ideas are scattered across the two pages of the thread.
Everything wrong with Halo: Twitch Gameplay–I’d attempt to minimize twitch mechanics which have been present to some extent in all Halo games.
Female Aliens and Genetic Diversity in Halo–I’d make sure that 343 industries didn’t fall into the design pitfall of lazy, generic, way too human-looking aliens like the Librarian and the Yonhet.
What’s your favourite character from the games?–I’d make sure that the Halo series stopped randomly killing off its best characters, and make sure that if I’m going to call the Infinity or the Mammoth or the Spartan-IVs unstoppable or badass or by whatever conceited title they call themselves, then I’d make sure it was deserved by demonstrating it.
